These terms apply to every order placed on webprintsigns.co.uk and to quotes and orders for print, signage, vehicle graphics, workwear, websites, apps and other services from Web Print & Signs. Please read them before you order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us
Web Print & Signs is the trading name of WEB PRINT & SIGNS LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 16585795. Registered office: Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester, M8 8EB. Phone 0161 315 1151, email hello@webprintsigns.co.uk.
2. Your order and our contract
- When you place an order online you make an offer to buy. The contract starts when we email you to confirm the order. If we cannot accept it (for example the artwork cannot be printed as supplied), we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Bespoke work such as signage, vehicle graphics, websites, apps and AI projects is supplied on the scope, price and timetable in our written quote, which forms part of the contract together with these terms.
- Most products are made to your specification. Please check every option you choose (size, material, quantity, sides, finish) before you pay.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling. WEB PRINT & SIGNS LIMITED is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added: the price you see is the price you pay, plus delivery if you choose delivery.
- The price for your chosen options is shown on the product page and in your basket before you pay. If a price is shown wrongly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before making anything, and you can cancel for a full refund.
- Online orders are paid by card or wallet (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) through Stripe. Quoted work may need a deposit, as stated in the quote.
4. Artwork and content
- You are responsible for the spelling, wording, layout and content of artwork you supply or tell us to use, and for having the right to use any logos, images, fonts and text. You must not ask us to print anything unlawful, defamatory or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- If you choose our artwork and design service, we will send you the design to check. Production starts only after you confirm it in writing (email or the online form). Please check it carefully: once you have confirmed it, we print exactly what you confirmed.
- Colours on screen and on paper differ. Printed colours can vary slightly between screens, materials and print runs; this is not a fault.
5. Delivery and collection
- UK mainland: £7.95 per order, free when the goods total (after any discount) is £99 or more.
- Scottish Highlands: £17.95 per order (£10.00 when the goods total is £99 or more).
- Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Wight, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands: delivered by quote. Call 0161 315 1151 or ask for a quote and we will price your order with delivery included.
- Collection: free from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. We will email or call you when your order is ready.
- Delivery is to UK addresses only. Production and delivery times shown are estimates, counted in working days from when your artwork is confirmed and payment is received. We will tell you promptly about any delay.
- Please check your delivery when it arrives and tell us within 7 days about anything damaged, missing or wrong, with photos if you can, so we can put it right quickly. This does not limit your legal rights (see Returns and Refunds).
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Ownership passes to you when we have received full payment.
6. Cancelling an order
Personalised and made-to-order products cannot be cancelled under the 14-day cancellation right once production has started. Services can be cancelled within 14 days unless you asked us to start sooner. The full rules are in our Returns and Refunds policy.
7. If something goes wrong
If goods are faulty, damaged, misprinted by us or not as described, we will reprint, repair or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Business customers: we will reprint or refund the affected items; this is your sole remedy for a defect, except where the law does not allow us to limit it.
8. Websites, apps, AI and other services
- We carry out services with reasonable care and skill, to the scope in our quote. Changes to the scope may change the price and timetable; we will agree any change with you first.
- When you have paid in full, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for you, except third-party components (such as themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and software libraries), which are licensed to you on their own terms.
- Ongoing services such as hosting, maintenance or SEO run for the period in the quote and can be ended by either side with the notice stated there (or 30 days if none is stated).
9. Our liability
- We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
- For consumers: we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
- For business customers: we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect loss, and our total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for that order.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control; we will tell you and keep the delay as short as possible.
10. Your personal data
We use your details as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
11. Complaints and law
If you have a complaint, email hello@webprintsigns.co.uk or call 0161 315 1151 and we will look into it and reply as quickly as we can. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers can bring claims in the courts of the part of the UK where they live.
