We print certificates in Manchester — award certificates, training and qualification certificates, membership and compliance certificates, and gift vouchers. Printed on heavyweight stock, then posted to you or ready to collect from Bury New Road. We have been printing under this name since 2003.
Send the quantity, size and the date you need them, and you’ll get a fixed price back. Artwork optional: we can set it out for you and send it to you to confirm first.

Most certificate orders are between 50 and 250 copies and needed inside a week. That is exactly the work this page is set up for: send the wording or the artwork, approve the artwork, and they are printed, packed and on their way.
What we print certificates on
Stock matters more than anything else on a certificate. Standard office paper feels like a printout; heavyweight uncoated stock feels like something worth framing.
- 300gsm heavyweight uncoated — the usual choice. Takes a pen, feels substantial, no shine under the lights at a presentation.
- Textured and laid stocks — for awards and long-service certificates where the paper should feel formal.
- Gold or silver foil — for seals, crests, borders and headline wording.
- Embossing — a raised crest or logo, for the ones that go on a wall.
- Perforated or numbered — for gift vouchers and anything that has to be tracked.
Sizes and quantities
A4 is the standard certificate. A5 suits vouchers and smaller awards, and we print square and DL for gift certificates. There is no minimum order that matters — we print 25 as readily as 2,500, and the price per certificate drops as the run grows.
- A4 (210 x 297mm) — the default for awards, training and qualifications
- A5 (148 x 210mm) — vouchers, smaller certificates, awards
- DL and square — gift vouchers, often with perforation or numbering
- Typical runs — 25, 50, 90, 100, 250, 500 and upwards
How fast we can do it
Certificates are usually wanted for a date: a ceremony, a course finishing, an audit. Tell us the date rather than “as soon as possible” and we will tell you straight away whether it is doable.
- Artwork already print-ready — artwork sent to you for approval, printed within two to three working days
- We set the wording for you — allow time for the artwork to come back approved
- Foiling or embossing — allow a few days more; those are finishing processes, not print
- Posted or collected — first class post, or pick up from the unit in Manchester
Getting the names right
The thing that goes wrong with certificates is names, not printing. Send the names in a spreadsheet, one per row, spelled exactly as they should appear, and we print them straight from that file — no retyping, so no new mistakes introduced at our end. Check the spelling before you approve the artwork, because a reprint of one certificate costs more per copy than the original run.
If every certificate is identical apart from the name, that is a variable data print and it costs no more than a plain run.
Artwork — supply it or leave it to us
Send a PDF and we will print it. If you have a logo and a rough idea, we will lay the certificate out for you and send you the artwork to approve before anything is printed. Either way you see exactly what you are getting, on the stock you have chosen, before you pay for a full run.
What we commit to, in writing
Printing is a trust business. You are sending us names, artwork and a date, and you cannot see the result until it arrives. So here is what we hold ourselves to on every certificate order:
- A fixed price before we start. Quoted in writing, and it does not move afterwards. No setup charge appearing later, no rounding up because the file was awkward.
- Artwork to approve before anything is printed. You see the exact layout on the exact stock. Changes before you approve are free.
- A date confirmed before you order, not after. If we cannot hit your ceremony or your deadline, we say so while you still have time to go elsewhere.
- If we get it wrong, we reprint it at our cost. Our mistake, our problem. If the error is in the file you approved, we will tell you plainly and price the reprint fairly.
- One person handles your job. The same people who quote it print it and pack it. You are not handed between departments or a call centre.
Twenty-three years, one team managing every job, and work that goes out under our name. That is the whole reason to use a local printer rather than an upload-and-hope website.
Who orders certificates from us
Training providers, schools and colleges, membership bodies, sports clubs, employers running long-service and recognition awards, and companies printing gift vouchers for customers. Orders come from across Greater Manchester and, increasingly, from national companies who found this page while looking for a printer who answers quickly.
What do customers ask about Certificate printing in Manchester?
How much does certificate printing cost?
It depends on quantity, stock and finishing — a 50-run on 300gsm uncoated and a 500-run with gold foil are different jobs. Send the quantity, size and whether you want foil or embossing and you will get a fixed price back. The price does not move once agreed.
What is the minimum order?
There is no meaningful minimum. We print short runs of 25 as well as thousands. Very short runs cost more per certificate because the setup is the same either way.
How quickly can I get them?
With print-ready artwork, two to three working days is normal and we can often go faster if you have a date. Foiled and embossed certificates take longer because they go through a finishing process after printing. Tell us the date you need them and we will confirm before you order.
Can you print each certificate with a different name?
Yes. Send the names in a spreadsheet and we print them directly from your file. It costs no more than printing the same certificate repeatedly, and it removes the risk of a name being retyped wrongly.
Do you do gold foil and embossed seals?
Yes — foil in gold or silver for seals, borders and headline wording, and embossing for a raised crest or logo. Both are worth it on certificates that get framed; both add a few days.
Can you post them, or do I collect?
Either. We post anywhere in the UK, and orders can be collected from our unit on Bury New Road in Manchester. Tell us which when you order so the price includes it.
Can you match our existing certificate design?
Yes. Send a scan or a previous PDF and we will match the layout, or rebuild it properly if the original artwork has been lost. You approve the artwork before any printing starts.
