Quick answers

Which material should I pick for my PVC banner?

The Material dropdown offers 440gsm PVC, 400gsm PVC Free and 260gsm Mesh. 440gsm PVC is the standard specification for a solid banner. Go for mesh when the banner will hang on scaffolding or open fencing, where wind is a factor, and see Mesh Banners for the full list of mesh sizes.

How much is a PVC banner?

Prices start at £40.78 for one banner on the cheapest combination of size, material and finishing. Each choice in the dropdowns moves the total, and the configurator displays the live price before you add anything to your cart. Custom sizes and runs beyond the listed quantities can be priced through Get a Quote.

How quickly can PVC banners be produced?

Typical production time is around 3 working days. Use that as a guide rather than a fixed date, and add delivery time on top if you are not collecting. If a shop launch or event is tied to a specific day, talk to us before you order so the timing can be checked.

What are cable ties for and how many bags do I need?

Cable ties fix the banner through its eyelets to railings, fences or frames. The Cable Ties dropdown runs from 0 up to 10 Bags, so pick 0 if you already have fixings. The number of ties in each bag isn't shown on the page, so ask the team if you need an exact count for a large install.

Should I choose hemmed edges on a PVC banner?

The Hemming dropdown gives two settings: Hemmed Edges, which finishes the border with a folded hem, or None, which leaves the edges unhemmed. Pick the setting before adding the banner to your cart, as it is part of the configuration you pay for. For more background on banner finishing, visit our PVC banner printing Manchester page.

Can I collect PVC banners from your Manchester studio?

Yes. Orders can be picked up from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. If you would rather have the banner sent, UK delivery is available and its cost is listed at checkout. Browse the banners category if you want to collect other banner types in the same trip.

What sizes can PVC banners be printed in?

Thirteen sizes are listed, from 1.5m x 0.5m and 4ft x 2ft up to 3m x 2m and 4m x 1m. The middle of the range includes 2m x 1m, 3m x 1.5m, 6ft x 3ft and 8ft x 4ft. For a size between those, or a banner longer than 4m, request a custom quote with your measurements.

Asked by buyers 22

What is the difference between 440gsm PVC and 400gsm PVC Free?

The two differ in material and weight. 440gsm PVC is the standard specification on this page, while 400gsm PVC Free is for buyers who would rather use a banner material without PVC. If that is your priority, the dedicated PVC Free Banners page has the PVC Free material set as standard.

When is the 260gsm Mesh option the better choice?

Pick 260gsm Mesh when the banner is going on scaffolding, open fencing or a pitch-side barrier. Its perforated material lets the wind pass through, whereas a solid PVC face catches it. The separate Mesh Banners page adds a 3300mm x 1800mm size and quantities up to 500.

Can PVC banners go outdoors?

Yes. They are made as hard-wearing outdoor banners for the British climate, and you will see them on shop fronts, building sites and event fencing. Make sure the fixing points are secure, especially on exposed sites. For a permanent outdoor sign rather than a banner, our sign makers in Manchester can quote for fixed signage.

Which PVC banner sizes suit a shop front?

That depends on the width of your fascia or window, so measure before you choose. Long, narrow sizes such as 8ft x 3ft, 10ft x 3ft and 3m x 1m fit above a door or along a frontage, while 2m x 1m works between windows. If you want something permanent, see our shop signs Manchester service.

Is there a 3m x 1.5m PVC banner?

Yes, 3m x 1.5m is in the Size dropdown here, sitting between 3m x 1m and 3m x 2m. It is useful when you want more depth than a long strip without going up to the full 3m x 2m. You can compare it with the other formats across the banner range before you decide.

How do I decide between 6ft x 3ft and 2m x 1m?

They are close: 6ft x 3ft works out at roughly 1.83m x 0.91m, so 2m x 1m gives a little more width and depth. Measure the wall, fence or frame and pick the one that fits with room for fixings. Local buyers can find more sizing advice on our PVC banner printing page.

Do PVC banners come with eyelets already fitted?

Yes, eyelets are fitted during production, as either Plastic Eyelets or Metal Eyelets depending on your choice in the dropdown. They give you ready-made fixing points for cable ties or hooks. If you are still choosing a banner type, the banners category shows every option side by side.

Can I order a PVC banner without eyelets?

The Eyelets dropdown has two choices, Plastic Eyelets and Metal Eyelets, and there is no option without them on this page. If you plan to mount the banner a different way, such as inside a frame or on a pole system, explain the setup on the quote form and we will price it.

Are cable ties included as standard?

Only if you select them. The Cable Ties dropdown starts at 0, and you can add anything from 1 Bag up to 10 Bags to the same order. If you already keep fixings on site or are hanging the banner in a frame, leaving it at 0 avoids paying for ties you won't use.

How many PVC banners can I order at once?

The Quantity dropdown goes from 1 to 10 one at a time, then 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 99. For 100 or more, or a number that falls between the steps, the team can price it for you separately. Use the contact page and give the size and quantity you have in mind.

What do 10 PVC banners cost?

On the cheapest combination of options, 10 banners come to £208.46 and 20 come to £393.38. Your own size, material, eyelets, hemming and cable tie choices set the real total, so treat those figures as the starting point. Other outdoor products to price alongside them are in the signage category.

Do cable ties add to the price?

The price updates live whenever you change a dropdown, including Cable Ties, so you can see the effect of adding bags before you commit to anything. Setting the dropdown to 0 keeps them off the order entirely. Check the total once all your other options are set, as that is the figure you pay at checkout.

What artwork format works best for a PVC banner?

Supply a print-ready PDF built at the finished size you selected, such as 8ft x 3ft or 3m x 1m. Keep key wording and logos back from the edges, especially if you are adding a hem. If you have questions about setting up a large file, the large format printing page covers similar work.

I only have a logo. Can you lay out the banner for me?

Yes. Choose the Professional artwork and design service (+£36.00) at the artwork step and the layout is set up for you from your logo and wording. It is a sensible route if you have no designer to hand. Matching items such as business cards help keep your branding consistent.

Can one design be printed on several PVC banners?

Yes. Set the quantity to the number of identical banners you need, and the same artwork goes on each one. For different designs, add each version to the cart as its own item with its own file. If some of the copies are for indoor use, the roller banners and displays range is worth comparing.

What are the steps to order a PVC banner online?

Work down the dropdowns: size, material, cable ties, eyelets, hemming and quantity. The total refreshes after each pick. Then select your artwork route, add the banner to your cart and pay at checkout through Stripe by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Extra items can be added from the print shop before you pay.

Who produces the banners?

Your banner is produced in Manchester by WEB PRINT & SIGNS LIMITED, a print, signs and web company trading since 2003 that has helped over 20,000 UK businesses. You can reach the team on 0161 315 1151 or at hello@webprintsigns.co.uk. Read more about Web Print Signs and the other services we offer.

Is delivery available across the UK?

Yes, PVC banners can be sent anywhere in the UK, and the delivery cost is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Customers in and around Manchester can also collect from the studio. Nearby towns we deliver to and work in are listed under areas we cover.

What are PVC banners commonly used for?

Shop openings, sale announcements, building site branding, sports clubs and community events are all typical uses. Because there are thirteen sizes and up to 99 per order, one product covers a single shop banner or a matching set for several venues. For staging and photo walls, see our event backdrop printing service.

Can I use a PVC banner on an exhibition stand?

Yes, a banner tied to the back wall of a stand or to a table frame is a quick way to brand the space. If you need something freestanding that packs away, look at Roller Banners, or see our exhibition graphics page for full stand work.

Can a PVC banner advertise a building project?

Yes. Builders and developers often put banners on site railings and hoardings to show the project name, contractor details and a contact number. If the fencing is open and exposed, switch the Material dropdown to 260gsm Mesh. For a sturdier panel at the site entrance, Rigid Boards are another choice.

What goes well with a PVC banner for a shop launch?

A banner above the door tells people what is new, and something at street level catches passers-by. Feather flags add height at the kerb, and A-Frame Signs can carry the opening offer on the pavement. Ordering them together keeps the colours and message consistent.
