Quick answers

What size are the custom printed mugs?

Every mug on this page is 11oz. Size is fixed in the specification, so there is no capacity dropdown to choose from, only colour and quantity. If you want a different mug shape to compare before you decide, have a look at the Bogota Ceramic Mugs and the Riviera Ceramic Mug.

Which mug colours can I choose?

The Colour dropdown lists nine options: White, Black, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Red, Orange, Green and Colour Changing. Pick the one that sits best with your logo, and the price refreshes as you switch between them. If the colour-changing effect is the main reason you are buying, the dedicated Colour-Changing Mug page is worth a look too.

How much does one printed mug cost?

A single mug starts at £17.47 on the cheapest colour. That is the entry point, and the configurator shows the live total for the colour and quantity you actually select. For runs above 500 mugs, or a quantity that is not in the dropdown, send the details through Get a Quote and the team will price it.

How long does it take to print custom mugs?

Typical turnaround is around 5 working days from your order. Treat that as a guide rather than a fixed date, and allow extra time for delivery if you are not collecting. When the mugs are tied to an event, a launch or a staff day, get in touch with the team first so the timing can be talked through.

Can I order just one printed mug?

Yes. The Quantity dropdown starts at 1, then steps through 2, 3, 4 and 5 before moving to 10 and upwards. A single mug suits a personal gift, a leaving present or a test of how your design looks before a bigger run. Other single-unit gift ideas sit on our promotional products Manchester page.

What artwork do I need for a printed mug?

You have two routes at the artwork step. Supply your own print-ready file at no extra charge, or choose the Professional artwork and design service (+£36.00) and the design is set up for you. The print area measurements are not listed on the page, so ask the team before you build a file from scratch.

Can I collect my mugs from Manchester?

Yes. Collection is available from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. If you would rather have the mugs sent, UK delivery is available and the cost appears at checkout before you pay. The towns and boroughs we regularly work in are listed under areas we cover.

Asked by buyers 22

Does the mug colour change the price?

It can do, which is why the total refreshes every time you pick a different colour. The figure you see once colour and quantity are both set is the one you pay at checkout. If you are undecided, try two or three colours in the dropdown and compare. The wider promotional range lists other branded gifts you can price alongside.

Are the printed mugs dishwasher and microwave safe?

The product page does not state care instructions for these mugs, so we won't guess. If your mugs are going into a busy office kitchen or a cafe where they will be washed daily, ask before you order and the team can tell you what applies. Send the question through the contact page or call 0161 315 1151.

Which mug colour suits a dark logo?

Contrast matters most. A navy or black logo reads clearly on White, Yellow or Pink, and can disappear on Black or Blue. If your logo is pale or white, a darker body colour gives it more presence. Check your brand colours against the options before deciding, and use the Logo and Brand Refresh if your logo only works on one background.

Is the Colour Changing mug also 11oz?

Yes. Size is fixed at 11oz for every option on this page, and Colour Changing is simply one of the nine choices in the Colour dropdown. Selecting it updates the live price in the same way as any other colour. For a product page built entirely around that effect, see the Colour-Changing Mug.

How high can the mug quantity go?

The dropdown runs from 1 to 5 one at a time, then 10, 20, 30 and on in tens to 100. After that it moves in fifties up to 500. Anything larger, or a figure between two steps such as 25 or 120, can be priced separately through the quote form.

Does the price per mug drop on larger orders?

Yes. One mug starts at £17.47, ten come to £78.74 and a hundred come to £746.23 on the cheapest colour. Those are the starting points for each quantity, and the configurator shows the live figure once your colour is chosen. For bulk orders across several product types, the promotional products page gives a wider picture.

Is it worth ordering a few spare mugs?

Often, yes. Mugs get dropped, chipped or taken home, and a second order later means another setup and another wait. Going up one quantity step, from 20 to 30 for example, gives you a reserve for new starters or visitors. Check the live total for both steps in the configurator before committing, then pay for whichever suits your budget.

Can I have a different name on each mug?

Yes, but each design is its own line. Add one mug per name to the cart, each with its own artwork file, rather than setting a quantity of 20 with one file. A name for every member of staff works well on a team day, and printed Lanyards can carry the same names on ID passes.

What file format should mug artwork be?

A print-ready PDF is the safest option. Make sure logos are high resolution and that any text is outlined or embedded so fonts don't swap. Because the printable area isn't published on the page, ask for the measurements before laying out a wrap-around design. Our business card design work follows the same file habits if you need both.

What does the paid design service do for a mug?

A designer builds the mug layout from what you send, such as your logo, a slogan or contact details. It suits buyers who have a logo file but no one to place it, size it and pick colours that work on the mug body. Select it at the artwork step, then finish your order in the usual way through the print shop checkout.

I don't have a logo yet. Can you still print mugs for me?

Yes. A mug can carry a business name in a clean typeface, a short message or a simple graphic. If you would like a proper logo to use on mugs, signs and stationery alike, the Logo and Brand Refresh service creates one, and the mugs can follow once it is ready.

How do I order printed mugs on the website?

Choose a colour, then a quantity, and watch the price update. Next pick your artwork route, either your own file or the paid design service, and add the mugs to your cart. Checkout takes card payment through Stripe. Before paying, you can add other items from the promotional and clothing range to the same order.

Which payment methods can I use for mugs?

Payment is taken by card at checkout through Stripe. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all accepted. The total you see is built from your colour, quantity and artwork choice, with UK delivery added at checkout if you are not collecting. Questions about paying for a large corporate order can go to hello@webprintsigns.co.uk, and extra items can be added from the online print shop before you pay.

Can I order mugs in more than one colour?

Yes. The Colour dropdown takes one choice per line, so add each colour to your cart separately with its own quantity. Ten White and ten Black would be two lines, each priced at its own quantity step. If you want a mixed set of several colours in larger numbers, ask for a quote covering the split.

Do you send printed mugs outside Greater Manchester?

Yes, mugs can be delivered anywhere in the UK. The delivery charge is worked out and displayed at checkout before you confirm payment. Local customers often collect instead and save the wait. For a sense of where we regularly deliver and work, see our areas we cover page.

When should I order mugs for an event?

Work back from the event date. Allow around 5 working days for production, then add delivery time unless you plan to pick them up in Manchester. Ordering a week or two ahead leaves room for any artwork questions. If your timing is tight, phone 0161 315 1151 or send a WhatsApp to 07737 902425 before you buy.

Do printed mugs make a good staff gift?

They are a practical one. A mug gets used every day at a desk or in the kitchen, so your name stays in view long after the gift is handed over. Some firms pair mugs with clothing for new starters; Custom Printed Polo Shirts and Custom Printed Hoodies both work well alongside.

Can a cafe use branded mugs?

Yes. Cafes and eateries use them behind the counter, on display shelves or as something regulars can buy to take home. Matching the mug colour to your shopfront or menu keeps the look consistent. For the rest of the table and counter, our menu printing Manchester service covers printed menus.

What pairs well with mugs in an event giveaway?

Smaller items that travel easily. A pen and a bag make a natural trio with a mug, and the bag doubles as packaging for the set. Look at Cotton Tote Bags to carry everything and the Global Classic Ballpoint Pen for a low-cost extra.

Can charities order printed mugs to sell?

Yes. Charities and community groups use mugs as fundraising merchandise, at stalls, on websites and at events. Because the quantity starts at 1, you can try a short run before committing to hundreds. For selling them online, our ecommerce website design team can build the shop.

Are printed mugs suitable for client thank-you gifts?

They are a simple choice that clients will actually use. A mug with your logo on one side and a short thank-you line on the other feels personal without costing much. For a more substantial gift box, add an item such as the Pinto Copper Vacuum Insulated Bottle.

Who prints the mugs?
