Quick answers

How much does a custom printed hoodie cost?

One hoodie starts at £50.33 on the cheapest mix of style, colour and print area. Ten come to £402.53, and the top listed quantity of 50 shows £1,794.24. Your own choices change the figure, and the configurator displays the live price before you add to cart. Larger team orders can go through Get a Quote.

Which hoodie colours can I choose?

Twelve colours are listed: Arctic White, Heather Grey, Charcoal, Deep Black, Oxford Navy, Royal Blue, Purple, Kelly Green, Sun Yellow, Orange Crush, Fire Red and Hot Pink. Pick one in the Hoodie Colour dropdown for each line you add. For lighter layers in team colours, see Custom Printed T-Shirts.

Where can my logo be printed on the hoodie?

The Print Area dropdown has five settings: Front Left (10x10cm), Front Centre (31x22.5cm), Back Centre (31x40cm), Front Left and Back Centre, or Front and Back Centre. The two-position options pair a front print with the 31x40cm back. A chest logo plus a large back print is a popular team look on promotional clothing.

Do you do zipped hoodies as well as pullovers?

Yes. The Style dropdown offers a Unisex Overhead Hoodie and a Unisex Zipped Hoodie, both printed to the same choices of colour, size and print area. If you are planning a front centre print on the zipped style, ask the team how it will sit before you order.

What sizes are the hoodies available in?

Sizes run S, M, L, XL and XXL, and both styles are unisex. Measurements for each size are not listed on the page, so if fit is critical for a team kit, ask for the size details first. For a matching kit in smaller sizes, our Kids' Custom T-Shirts are sold separately.

How quickly can printed hoodies be ready?

Hoodies typically take around 5 working days to produce once your order and artwork are in. Treat that as a guide rather than a deadline, and allow for delivery on top. If the kit is needed for a match, tour or society event, mention the date through a quote request so timing can be looked at.

Can I collect printed hoodies in Manchester?

Yes. You can pick the order up from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB, or choose UK delivery and see its cost at checkout. Teams across the region use the Manchester studio; the areas we cover page lists where else is served.

Asked by buyers 22

Which hoodie colour shows a logo best?

Contrast is what matters. A dark logo stands out on Arctic White, Heather Grey or Sun Yellow, while a white or bright logo reads well on Deep Black, Oxford Navy or Charcoal. If your logo has several colours, test it against the shade you want before choosing. The Custom Printed Polo Shirts page has another garment for the same artwork.

Can I order different colours in one order?

Yes. Each line in the basket carries one colour, one size, one style and one print area, so add a separate line for each combination you need. A club might add Royal Blue for players and Deep Black for coaches. For a big mixed run, ask for help planning the lines.

What is the difference between the overhead and zipped styles?

The overhead hoodie pulls on over the head with an uninterrupted front, while the zipped hoodie opens down the middle. Both are unisex and come in the same colours and sizes. The overhead style keeps the front clear for a Front Centre print; the zipped style suits a Front Left logo.

How do I order mixed sizes for a team?

Add one line per size. For example, pick M and a quantity of 6, add it to the cart, then switch to L and add another line. Keep colour, style and print area the same on each line so the kit matches. For a whole club order, the promotional products team can help organise it.

What does Front Left (10x10cm) mean?

It is a chest logo position on the wearer's left side, with a print area of 10x10cm. It is the subtle option, similar to where a badge would sit on a school jumper. Pair it with a Back Centre print by choosing the Front Left and Back Centre option in the dropdown.

How large is the back print on a hoodie?

The Back Centre area is 31x40cm, the largest single print area on the page. That gives room for a big logo, a team name or an event line-up. Order it on its own, or combine it with a front print by choosing one of the two-position options in the Print Area dropdown.

Can I print on the sleeves or hood?

Sleeve and hood positions are not among the five print areas in the dropdown, so they cannot be ordered online. If you want a name down a sleeve or a logo on the hood, describe the design through a custom quote and the options can be looked at.

Can each hoodie show a different name on the back?

The online order uses one design per line. For individual names, add each person as a separate line with a quantity of 1 and supply that version of the artwork. It is a common setup for leavers' hoodies and squad kits. For another personalised item, see the Personalised Cushions.

Do hoodies get cheaper when I order more?

Yes. The price per hoodie falls as the quantity rises, so a full squad works out cheaper per garment than one or two. Try a few quantities in the dropdown and compare the live totals. Quantities go up one at a time from 1 to 20, then 30, 40 and 50.

Does adding a back print change the price?

It can. The print area is one of the options that feeds the live price, so a two-position print may come out differently from a single chest logo. Switch between the settings in the Print Area dropdown and watch the total change before you decide.

Can I order more than 50 hoodies?

The dropdown stops at 50 for one line. You can add further lines, or ask for one price on the full number. Send your sizes, colours and print positions through our contact page and a figure can be worked out for the whole run.

What artwork do I need for a hoodie print?

A print-ready PDF set to the print area you picked, for example 31x40cm for the back, is the safest file. A vector logo keeps edges sharp at large sizes. If your logo only exists as a low-resolution image, the paid design service at the artwork step can prepare it.

Can you create a hoodie design for our club or society?

Yes. Choose the Professional artwork and design service (+£36.00) and the layout is put together from your logo, name and any wording you supply. It suits university societies and sports clubs that have a badge but no finished design. If you also need a club website, see web design in Manchester.

Do I need separate artwork for the front and back?

If you choose a two-position print, yes: supply one design for the front and one for the back, each sized to its area. Name them clearly so it is obvious which is which. A short note with your order on where each goes helps avoid mix-ups.

How do I pay for printed hoodies?

Build your hoodie in the dropdowns, choose an artwork option, add it to your cart and pay by card at checkout. Stripe handles payment, taking Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. More items can go in the same basket from the online shop.

How is a hoodie order delivered?

Choose UK delivery at checkout and the cost is shown before you pay. Alternatively collect from the Manchester studio on Bury New Road. Allow for the typical production time of around 5 working days before the hoodies leave.

Can I order hoodies along with T-shirts or jackets?

Yes. Different garments can go in one basket, each with its own options. A soft shell jacket for coaches alongside hoodies for players is a common pairing; see the Custom Soft Shell Jacket page for that item.

Who usually orders custom printed hoodies?

Sports clubs, university societies, schools and company teams are the main buyers. Hoodies work as kit, as merchandise to sell, or as a warm layer for staff at outdoor events. WPS has helped over 20,000 UK businesses since 2003, and the about page tells the story.

Are printed hoodies good for staff at outdoor events?

Yes. A hoodie with a large back print makes staff easy to find in a crowd and keeps them warm. Choose a bright colour such as Sun Yellow or Orange Crush for visibility. Match the look with event backdrop printing on site.

Can I sell printed hoodies as merchandise?

Yes, many bands, cafes and community groups order hoodies to sell. Start with a short run in your best-selling sizes, then reorder what sells. Fit your logo to the Front Centre or Back Centre area for impact. For selling online, an ecommerce website can be set up too.

What can I add to a hoodie order for a team pack?

Lanyards, water bottles and tote bags are common add-ons for a squad or staff pack. A bag gives everyone somewhere to keep their kit. The Cotton Tote Bags page is a good starting point for that.

Do hoodies work as leavers' gifts for schools?

They are a popular choice. A school name on the front and the year group on the back is a simple layout that fits the Front and Back Centre option. Individual names can be added line by line. Look at certificate printing to round off the year.
