Quick answers

How much are custom printed T-shirts?

The lowest price for one shirt is £31.06, based on the cheapest mix of size, fit, print position and colour. Twenty shirts start at £385.73 and fifty at £829.92. Whatever you select, the configurator works out the live total before you add to cart. Need more than 50, or a different garment? Request pricing via Get a Quote.

What sizes and fits do the printed T-shirts come in?

Sizes run S, M, L, XL and XXL, and the Gender dropdown lets you choose Female or Male. Pick the fit and size for each line, then add it to the cart and repeat for the next combination. Staff in a mixed team can all wear the same design this way. For younger wearers, see our Kids' Custom T-Shirts.

How large can the print be on a T-shirt?

Front Centre and Back Centre both allow a design up to 31x40cm, which is big enough for a band graphic or full-chest slogan. Front Left is 10x10cm for a discreet logo. Two combinations cover both sides: Front Left And Back Centre, and Front And Back Centre. Browse other garments in promotional clothing.

Which T-shirt colours are available?

Nine: White, Black, Navy, Royal, Red, Pink, Purple, Light Grey and Dark Grey. Black and White are the usual starting point for merch and staff wear, while Royal, Red and Purple suit charity or team events where you want people to stand out. For a colour not on that list, speak to us before ordering.

How quickly can printed T-shirts be ready?

The typical turnaround is around 5 working days, counted from when your order and artwork are in place. It is a guide, not a promise, so leave a margin before a gig, launch or event. Shirts can be collected in Manchester or sent anywhere in the UK, as listed on our areas we cover page.

Do I need my own design to order T-shirts?

No. You can upload print-ready artwork free of charge, or add the Professional artwork and design service for £36.00 and have our designers create the layout from your logo and wording. If you are building a wider brand at the same time, our business cards service can carry the same look onto print.

Can I order just one custom T-shirt?

Yes, the Quantity dropdown starts at 1 and goes up one at a time to 20, then in steps of five to 50. That suits a one-off gift, a sample for a team to approve, or a short run of band merch. If you want something warmer with the same print, look at our Custom Printed Hoodies.

Asked by buyers 22

What does the Gender option change on a T-shirt?

It sets the cut of the shirt, Female or Male, alongside the size you pick. Many teams order both so everyone gets a comfortable fit with the same branding. Set up each fit as its own cart line with its own quantity. If you are unsure which suits your group, ask us before buying.

Is there a size bigger than XXL?

XXL is the largest size listed for this T-shirt. If someone on your team needs a bigger size, it is worth asking before you place the rest of the order so the whole set matches. Describe the sizes you need on the quote form and we will come back to you.

Which T-shirt colour works for a white logo?

A white or pale design shows up best on the darker shirts: Black, Navy, Dark Grey, Purple or Royal. On White or Light Grey a white logo would barely be visible, so either switch the logo to a dark version or pick a darker shirt. Red and Pink sit in the middle and suit bold logos in either light or dark tones.

Can one order have T-shirts in several colours?

Yes. Configure each colour separately, add it to the cart, then change the colour and quantity for the next line. Event crews often use one colour for staff and another for volunteers so roles are obvious at a glance. Our Lanyards can add names and roles on top.

Should I choose Front Left or Front Centre for a company logo?

Front Left (10x10cm) gives a tidy chest logo that looks right on everyday staff wear. Front Centre (31x40cm) makes the logo the main feature, which suits promotional events and merchandise. If your logo is wide and short, the larger area gives it room to breathe. For a smarter collared option, see our Custom Printed Polo Shirts.

Can I have a logo on the front and a website on the back?

Yes. Front Left And Back Centre (10x10cm) (31x40cm) puts your logo on the chest and gives the back a large panel for a web address, phone number or slogan. It is a common setup for tradespeople and event staff who are seen from behind. If you need a site to send people to, our web design team can build one.

When is Front And Back Centre worth it?

Choose it when both sides need to carry a full design, for example tour dates on the back of band merch or a charity name front and back for a fun run. Each side allows 31x40cm. It costs more than a single print, and the configurator shows the difference as soon as you switch between options.

How does the price per T-shirt change from 1 to 50?

It falls steadily. One shirt starts at £31.06 on the cheapest options, while ten start at £209.66, which works out at well under that per shirt. Try a few quantities in the configurator to see how far the unit cost drops for your choices. For other promotional items that reward bulk orders, see promotional products.

What if I need 22 or 37 T-shirts?

The dropdown goes 1 to 20 in single steps, then 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50. For an in-between number, split it into two cart lines, for example 20 plus 2, or 35 plus 2, and compare that with rounding up. Spares are handy for new starters. For exact runs above 50, use Get a Quote.

Do the size and fit affect the T-shirt price?

The quoted starting figures use whichever combination of options is cheapest, so the price you see can shift when you change size, fit, colour or print area. The quickest way to check is to set your exact choices in the configurator and watch the total update live. Nothing is charged until checkout.

What artwork format suits T-shirt printing?

Send a print-ready PDF set to the size you want on the shirt, such as 31x40cm for a full front, with the background removed if the design should sit straight on the fabric. Supplying your own file is free. If you are not sure your file will work, talk to our team first.

Can the design service create band or event merch?

Yes. Add the Professional artwork and design service for £36.00 and send your band name, logo, tour dates or event details. Our designers lay it out for the print area you selected. It also covers tidying up an existing logo so it prints cleanly. Find out more about the team on our about page.

Can a photo be printed on a T-shirt?

A photo can be used as artwork, as long as the image is sharp and large enough for the print size. A photo from a phone is often fine for a front-left print but may look soft stretched to 31x40cm. Send the best original you have, and if in doubt, use the design service to prepare it.

What are the steps to order printed T-shirts?

Choose Size, Gender, Print Area, Tshirt Colour and Quantity, then pick your artwork option. The price updates with each choice. Add to cart, repeat for any other sizes or colours, and pay by card at checkout through Stripe, which takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Browse matching items in the online shop.

Can I order T-shirts and other branded items together?

Yes, everything goes through the same cart and checkout. Businesses often add Custom Printed Mugs for the office or Cotton Tote Bags for events alongside staff shirts. Each product keeps its own options and turnaround, so check those before relying on a shared date.

Where can I collect printed T-shirts?

Collection is from our Manchester studio at Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. Many local customers pick up on their way to an event or gig. If you would rather have them delivered, choose UK delivery at checkout and the cost will be shown before you pay.

Do you deliver T-shirts across the UK?

Yes. Enter your address at checkout and the delivery cost is calculated there. Production is typically around 5 working days, so add transit time on top when planning. If you are ordering for several sites, ask about splitting delivery by emailing hello@webprintsigns.co.uk.

What are custom T-shirts most often used for?

Staff uniforms for shops, cafes and trades, merchandise for bands and podcasts, charity runs and fundraisers, stag and hen weekends, and crew shirts for events. A T-shirt is also an easy giveaway at a stand. If you are exhibiting, see our exhibition graphics to match the shirts with your stand.

Are printed T-shirts a good option for selling merch?

They are one of the simplest items to sell, because the price per shirt drops as you order more and the design can change between runs. Start with a modest batch in your best-selling sizes and reorder once you know demand. Pair them with Custom Sticker Sheets as a low-cost add-on at the merch table.

Do T-shirts work as uniforms for a local business?

Yes, they are a practical uniform for cafes, salons, removal firms and market stalls where a polo would feel too formal. A chest logo with your web address on the back keeps the look tidy and gets your name seen. For outdoor teams in colder months, add our Custom Soft Shell Jacket.

What should a charity put on fundraising T-shirts?

Keep the front simple, usually the charity logo, and use the back for the event name, date or a short message supporters can rally behind. Bright colours such as Royal, Red or Pink help runners and volunteers stand out in photos. Our Feather Flags mark out a start line or stall.

Can I order different sizes of the same design?

Yes. Set the first size, fit and quantity, add it to your cart, then change the size and add again, keeping the same artwork. Before you start, gather everyone's sizes in a simple list so nothing is missed. It also helps to order one or two extra in M and L for late joiners.
