The brief
The client sought to create a free, private mental wellness companion for Pakistan. The platform needed to include an AI assistant named Zara and a comprehensive directory of over 2,400 mental health professionals across the country. Support for Urdu, Hindi, and English languages was a core requirement.
The brief emphasised that the service was not a medical one, but a supportive resource aimed at helping individuals feel less alone and connect with professional help when needed.
What we built
We developed a multi-lingual website featuring a private AI mental wellness companion (Zara) and a searchable directory of mental health professionals. The directory includes filtering options by location and specialisation, with detailed profiles for each professional. Content was made available in Urdu, Hindi, and English.
Key features include an interactive chat interface for Zara, a robust database for professional listings, and a clear disclaimer about the non-medical nature of the service. The site was designed with mobile responsiveness and on-page SEO to ensure accessibility and discoverability across Pakistan.
Design & technical notes
The design approach prioritised a calming and trustworthy user experience, using a gentle colour palette and clear, accessible typography. The layout was designed to be intuitive, especially for users seeking support. Multi-language support was integrated seamlessly into the user interface.
Technically, the platform was built to handle dynamic content for the professional directory and the AI assistant. Performance optimisation was crucial for fast loading times, particularly given the diverse internet conditions in the region. Robust security measures were implemented to ensure user privacy and data protection. Secure and reliable hosting was provided.
