Sign Face Replacement Manchester
A lightbox or fascia that still works but looks tired rarely needs replacing from scratch. We make and fit new faces and new vinyl for existing signs in Manchester, so the frame, the fixings and the lighting stay where they are and only the part people look at changes.

When a new face is the right fix
- The printed face has faded, yellowed or cracked
- The vinyl lettering is peeling, bubbling or has gone patchy
- Your logo, phone number or business name has changed
- You have taken over a unit that came with a sign frame already fitted
- One face of a double-sided projecting sign was broken
What we do, and what we do not
We replace sign faces and vinyl: acrylic and polycarbonate faces for lightboxes, flex faces for larger boxes, and the printed or cut vinyl on fascia panels and projecting signs. We measure the existing frame, make the new face to fit it and fit it in place.
We do not carry out electrical work. If tubes, LED modules, drivers or wiring have failed, that needs a qualified electrician, and we are happy to work alongside the one you use. For a brand new sign instead, see illuminated signs and LED signs.
How it works
Photos and sizes
Send photos of the sign by WhatsApp or email, front and side, or we visit to measure the frame.
Artwork
We set up your design to the exact face size, or update the old one, and send it to you for approval.
A fixed quote
You get one price for the faces or vinyl and fitting before anything is made.
Production
The faces are printed or cut through our production network to the measured size.
Fitting
We take out the old face, clean the frame and fit the new one, at height where needed.
Faces, vinyl and fascias
Lightbox faces need material that lets light through evenly, so the print looks right both in daylight and lit at night. Non-illuminated fascias can often be re-skinned with new vinyl over a cleaned panel, which is quicker than a full new sign. If the panel underneath is damaged, a new fascia sign may be the better choice, and we will tell you which suits.
What do customers ask before ordering?
Can you fix the lights in my sign?
No. We replace faces and vinyl only. Faulty tubes, LEDs, drivers or wiring need a qualified electrician, and we can work around their visit.
Do I need the original artwork?
It helps but it is not essential. We can work from your logo files, redraw simple lettering, or update the old design with you.
How much does a new sign face cost?
It depends on the size, the material and how the sign is reached. We give a fixed quote after seeing photos or measuring the frame.
Can you change just the phone number?
Often, yes. On many fascias the lettering can be changed without a full new face. Send a photo and we will say what is possible.
Can the work be done after closing time?
Yes. Evening and weekend fitting can be arranged so the shop does not have to close.
