How to get a quote
Every van is different, so removal is priced from photos rather than from a list.
- Photograph both sides, the back and the front of the van, plus a close-up of any cracked or faded vinyl.
- Send the photos by WhatsApp to 07737 902425 or by email to hello@webprintsigns.co.uk, with the make and model and roughly how old the graphics are.
- We reply with a price and a date that suits you.
What we remove
- Cut vinyl lettering: business names, phone numbers, websites and services
- Printed logos and graphics
- Part wraps and full wraps
- Reflective chevrons and fleet markings
- Rear window graphics and one way vision
- Glue and residue left behind by a previous removal
How the removal is done
The vinyl is warmed so the adhesive softens, then peeled back slowly so it comes away without lifting the paint. Any adhesive left on the panel is taken off with a paint-safe remover, and each panel is cleaned and wiped down before the van is handed back. You get a clean van with no sticky patches and no glue lines.
Lease returns and selling a van
Lease companies usually expect vans back without graphics and without adhesive marks, and a plain van is easier to sell. A clean removal helps you avoid end-of-lease charges for leftover vinyl or glue.
Taking off the old livery and fitting the new
If you are rebranding, we can remove the old livery and fit new van graphics, vehicle lettering or a full van wrap as one job.
How much does van livery removal cost?
It depends on how much vinyl is on the van, how old it is and what condition it is in. Old, sun-baked vinyl breaks into small pieces and takes longer to remove than newer film. Send photos and we will give you a price before any work starts.
Will removing the graphics damage the paint?
On original factory paint, vinyl removed carefully comes off without damage. Paint that has been resprayed, repaired or is already flaking can lift with the vinyl, and we will point this out from your photos before we start.
Will there be a mark where the old lettering was?
On older vans the paint around the graphics fades in the sun while the paint underneath stays protected, so a faint outline of the old lettering (called ghosting) can show after removal. The glue itself is always cleaned off. If your photos suggest ghosting, we will tell you before you book.
