The brief

The client required a web application to serve as a self-help companion for Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. The application needed to provide tools for users to explore their internal ‘parts’, track their wellbeing, and connect with professionals.

Specific features requested included a parts map, daily check-ins, various wellbeing tools, and a comprehensive directory of IFS therapists worldwide.

What we built

We developed a web application with core IFS therapy tools, including an interactive parts map for users to identify and understand their internal system. The app features daily check-in functionality for mood and progress tracking, alongside a suite of wellbeing exercises.

A global therapist directory was integrated, allowing users to search for IFS practitioners. The application was designed with a mobile-first approach and includes on-page SEO for mental health and therapy-related searches.

Design & technical notes

The design prioritised a supportive and accessible user experience, using a gentle colour scheme and clear typography to create a calming interface. The layout was structured to guide users through complex self-reflection processes.

Technically, the application is fully responsive, ensuring smooth operation on various devices. Performance was optimised for quick access to tools and resources, and a secure hosting environment was established to protect user data and privacy.
