The brief

The client aimed to create the UK’s authoritative online resource for the ketogenic diet. The site needed to provide comprehensive information, including meal plans, recipes, weight loss tips, and scientifically supported guides, to help users understand and implement the ketogenic diet effectively.

The brief emphasised the need for a user-friendly platform that could serve as a go-to destination for individuals starting or continuing their keto journey, offering reliable and accessible content.

What we built

We developed a content-rich website featuring extensive articles on various aspects of the ketogenic diet. The site includes dedicated sections for meal plans, a recipe database, weight loss tips, and science-backed guides. A robust content management system was implemented to allow for easy updates and expansion of information.

Key features include a search function for recipes and articles, category filtering, and a mobile-first layout to ensure accessibility on all devices. On-page SEO was integrated to improve visibility for relevant search terms related to the ketogenic diet.

Design & technical notes

The design focused on clarity and ease of navigation, using a clean layout and readable typography to present complex information simply. A colour palette was chosen to be inviting and health-oriented. The site was built with a responsive design, ensuring a consistent user experience across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
