Quick answers

What sizes can custom wrapping paper be printed at?

The Size dropdown offers A3 and A2 sheets. A3 suits jewellery boxes, books and other compact gifts, while A2 covers larger boxes and clothing. If you need a roll or a bigger sheet for bulky items, send the details through Get a Quote and the team will price it.

Which paper should I choose for wrapping paper?

Two papers are offered: 90gsm Premium Smooth White Paper, which is the standard, and 115gsm Art Paper Silk Finish. The 90gsm sheet is lighter and folds easily around corners, while the 115gsm silk is heavier with a gentle sheen. For more branded packaging ideas, browse the packaging and bags category.

How much does printed wrapping paper cost?

Prices start at £31.58 for 25 sheets on the cheapest combination of size, paper and sides. 250 sheets start at £69.41, and 1000 at £195.55. Your own options set the final figure, and the configurator shows the live total before you add to cart. Pair it with Printed Paper Bags for wrapped gifts.

Can wrapping paper be printed on both sides?

Yes. Single Sided is the standard setting, and Double Sided prints the reverse as well. A printed inside gives the customer a second pattern or a message when they unwrap. Switch the Sides Printed dropdown to see how the price changes. For a printed gift box instead, see Pillow Boxes.

How long does custom wrapping paper take?

Around 4 working days is the typical production time. Treat it as a guide, not a fixed date, and allow for delivery unless you collect. For Christmas, Mother's Day or a shop opening, order well ahead or check the timing with the team on the contact page.

What is the smallest quantity of wrapping paper I can order?

The lowest quantity is 25, and the steps then run through 50, 125, 250, 500, 1000 and 2000. A short run suits a pop-up, a craft fair or a trial pattern before a busy season. For a quantity that isn't listed, ask for a price through Get a Quote.

Can I collect wrapping paper in Manchester?

Yes. Orders can be picked up from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. UK delivery is also available, with the cost shown at checkout before you pay. See where else we work on the areas we cover page.

Asked by buyers 22

Is 115gsm Art Paper Silk Finish too thick for wrapping?

It is heavier than the 90gsm option, but still a paper rather than a card, so it folds around boxes. It suits gifts where you want a more substantial feel and a soft sheen. For wrapping lots of small or awkward shapes quickly, the lighter 90gsm Premium Smooth White Paper is easier to handle.

Does the silk finish make colours look different?

A silk finish usually gives a light sheen that keeps colours crisp, while the 90gsm Premium Smooth White Paper has a plainer surface. Both sit on a white base, so bright brand colours show well on either. If colour accuracy is critical, ask about how your design will print through Contact Web Print Signs.

Can I get brown kraft wrapping paper?

Not on this page; the two papers listed are both white-based: 90gsm Premium Smooth White Paper and 115gsm Art Paper Silk Finish. For a kraft look elsewhere in your packaging, Printed Paper Bags come in Brown Kraft. For a kraft wrapping sheet, ask through the quote form.

Should I pick A3 or A2 wrapping paper?

Wrap a typical product in plain paper first to see how much you use. If A3 covers it with some overlap, it is the more economical size; if not, choose A2. Shops with mixed stock often order both sizes so staff can pick the right one at the counter.

Can wrapping paper come on a roll?

The configurator offers sheets in A3 or A2 only. If a roll would suit your counter or packing station better, explain what you need, including width and quantity, on the quote page and the team will look at it.

Is double-sided printing worth it for wrapping paper?

It depends on the moment you want to create. Single Sided keeps cost down and suits everyday wrapping. Double Sided adds a printed inside, which suits luxury gifts, subscription boxes and brands that put effort into unwrapping. Compare the live price for both before deciding.

How does the price change between 25 and 2000 sheets?

On the cheapest combination, 50 sheets start at £35.78 and 2000 start at £363.72, so the cost per sheet falls steeply as quantity rises. Your size, paper and sides choices set the real price. For seasonal stock, ordering a larger run often makes sense if you have room to store it.

Does A2 cost more than A3?

Size is part of the price, so switching from A3 to A2 can change the total, as can the paper and Sides Printed choices. Set your quantity first, then change the Size dropdown and watch the price update live. That gives you the exact difference for your order.

How many sheets will my shop need?

Estimate how many gifts you wrap in an average week and multiply by the weeks you want covered, adding extra for December or other peaks. A shop wrapping 20 gifts a week might find 500 lasts a good part of the year. Ordering ahead keeps you from running short in a busy period.

What artwork works best for wrapping paper?

Repeating patterns work best, because the paper is cut and folded and no single spot stays in view. A logo tiled across the sheet, or a pattern built from brand icons, looks good from any angle. Supply a print-ready PDF at the finished A3 or A2 size. If you'd like help, see the design service below.

Can you create a wrapping paper pattern from my logo?

Yes. Choose the Professional artwork and design service (+£36.00) and send your logo and brand colours. The pattern is then laid out to suit A3 or A2. If your logo itself needs updating first, see the Logo and Brand Refresh service.

Can I print a message on the inside?

Yes, if you choose Double Sided. The reverse can carry a thank-you line, a hashtag or a website, which the customer sees as they open the gift. Keep the inside design simple so the outside pattern stays the star. A printed card is another option, and Greeting Cards can match the design.

What are the steps to order wrapping paper?

Choose Size, Paper Type, Sides Printed and Quantity; the price updates as you go. Then pick your artwork option, add to cart and pay by card at checkout via Stripe, with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can add more items from the print shop before you pay.

Can I order two different patterns?

Yes. Add each design to the cart as its own item with its own artwork file and quantity. A shop might keep one everyday pattern and one seasonal design, ordering more of the first. Everything goes through one checkout, which keeps restocking simple.

Who prints the wrapping paper?

WEB PRINT & SIGNS LIMITED, a Manchester print, signs and web company trading since 2003 that has helped over 20,000 UK businesses. Call 0161 315 1151, WhatsApp 07737 902425 or email hello@webprintsigns.co.uk. Read more about Web Print Signs.

Is wrapping paper delivered across the UK?

Yes. UK delivery is available and the cost is calculated at checkout before you pay, or you can collect in Manchester. Paper sheets are best stored flat and dry once they arrive, so plan where the stock will live. For the full range, visit our custom printed bags page.

Do gift shops use branded wrapping paper?

Yes. Independent gift shops and boutiques use it to make every purchase look like a present, which gets noticed when it is opened. It also adds value without discounting. For matching shop branding, see shop window graphics for seasonal window displays.

Can online shops use printed wrapping paper inside parcels?

Yes. Wrapping each product in branded paper inside the shipping box gives online orders a gift-like opening. It works well with mailer boxes and sticker seals. Compare Custom Mailer Boxes for the outer packaging and Packaging Tape to close them.

Is custom wrapping paper good for corporate Christmas gifts?

Yes. Wrapping client or staff gifts in paper printed with your logo makes them instantly recognisable under the tree. A2 suits hampers and bottle gifts, while A3 covers smaller items. For gifts to wrap, browse our promotional products range.

Can wrapping paper be used for events or weddings?

Yes. Couples and event planners use custom sheets for favours, table gifts and welcome packs, often with names or a date in the pattern. Order a short run from 25 sheets for a single event. For printed invitations to match, see our invitation printing page.

Can I use printed wrapping paper as tissue for clothing?

The papers here are 90gsm and 115gsm, which are heavier than typical tissue, so they behave more like gift wrap than a soft liner. For clothing, they work well wrapped around a folded garment and sealed with a sticker. Matching Swing Tags complete the presentation.

Can cafes or food shops use wrapping paper?

Yes, for wrapping gift boxes of chocolates, biscuits or hampers at busy times. Bear in mind the listing gives no food-contact detail, so use it around boxed or packaged items rather than directly on food. Branded Takeaway Paper Bags cover everyday food orders.
