Works offices and mill partitions

An office overlooking a works floor usually has a long glass screen. A frosted band with the company name, covering the recommended zones between 850mm and 1000mm and between 1400mm and 1600mm from the floor, makes the glass obvious and calms the office down, while clear glass above and below lets supervisors keep an eye on the floor. Works lighting can be harsh, so we choose film that stands out under it.

In converted mill buildings, glazed partitions are often added to split large open floors into offices and studios. These are easy to walk into, especially in shared spaces where visitors do not know the layout. A band at both heights on every pane, including fixed panels next to doors, solves it.

Clinics and shops in the town centre can use frosted film for privacy with the business name cut out at eye level, which keeps the frontage welcoming and doubles as a sign.

Old, peeling film left by previous tenants is stripped and the glass cleaned before new film goes on, which gives a much neater finish. We also bring film samples to the survey so you can hold them up to your own glass and compare.
