Privacy for Sale salons and clinics

School Road has many beauty salons, aesthetic clinics, therapists and professional offices in shopfronts with big windows onto the street. Clients expect privacy, but the business still needs to look open and inviting. Frosted film provides privacy while letting daylight through, and can carry your name or logo so the window still does the job of a sign.

Measuring and fitting

Sale is roughly 30 to 35 minutes from our office via the A56 or the M60, depending on traffic. We measure every pane and check floor heights, then fit when it suits you, before opening, after closing or on your day off.

Designing film that suits a salon

For a salon or clinic, the window film is part of the look of the business. Rather than a plain frosted sheet, many choose a design: a frosted panel with the salon name and a simple pattern cut out, a gradient that fades from frosted at the bottom to clear at the top, or a repeated motif from the brand. These still give privacy and still mark the glass, as long as they cover the zones between 850mm and 1000mm and between 1400mm and 1600mm from the floor.

Treatment rooms facing the street usually need full privacy up to just above head height, with a clear strip at the top for light. Waiting areas can stay more open, with a lighter band.

Offices and professional practices often prefer a simple frosted band at seated eye level, with the firm’s name at the door.

Old film is common on School Road shopfronts, left by previous tenants. We strip it, clean away the glue and fit the new film on clear glass, which gives a much neater finish than going over the top. We also bring samples to the survey, so you can hold them against your windows and see how much light each lets through.
