What are the custom coasters made of?

Each coaster is 3mm MDF with a 1mm cork base. The MDF gives a rigid printed top and the cork sits underneath against the table. That build is fixed, so there is no material dropdown to set. If you want a lighter, lower-cost mat for a bar, compare our Beer Mat Printing.

What size are the printed coasters?

Every coaster is 90mm x 90mm. The size is fixed on this product, so your artwork only needs to be set up once for that square. If you need a different size or shape for a project, describe it through Get a Quote and the job can be priced separately.

Can I order just one coaster?

What does the cork base do?

The 1mm cork layer sits on the underside of the coaster, so the table touches cork rather than bare MDF. It gives the coaster a softer contact with the surface. The printed design sits on the 3mm MDF top.

How do MDF coasters compare with card beer mats?

MDF coasters are rigid and built to be kept, so they suit hotel rooms, offices and gifts. Card beer mats are cheaper per piece and often replaced, which suits a busy bar. If you need hundreds for a bar top, Beer Mat Printing may be the better fit.

Are the coasters heat resistant or dishwasher safe?

The product page doesn't state heat or washing performance, so we won't make a claim either way. If your coasters will sit under hot mugs all day or need regular cleaning, ask the team before ordering so you get an accurate answer.
