Quick answers

What sizes are the printed table runners?

There are two sizes: 800mm x 2200mm and 600mm x 2200mm. Both share the same 2200mm length, so the choice comes down to how much of the table width you want the runner to cover. If your tables need a different length or width, send the measurements through Get a Quote and the team will price it.

How much does a custom table runner cost?

A single runner starts at £79.18 on the cheapest size. Ordering more brings the cost per runner down, for example two runners come to £111.91 and ten come to £373.68 on that cheapest option. The product page works out the live total as you change size and quantity, so treat these figures as the starting point. Other table items sit in the menus and hospitality range.

How long do table runners take to print?

Production typically takes around 6 working days. That is a working guide rather than a fixed promise, and delivery time sits on top if you are not collecting. If the runners are for a launch, wedding or exhibition on a set date, get in touch before ordering so the timing can be talked through.

Can I order a single table runner?

Yes. The Quantity dropdown starts at 1, so one runner for a reception desk or a single event table is fine. It then steps through every number up to 20 before moving to 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50. Many buyers pair runners with matching printed tablecloths for a full table set.

Do I have to design the table runner artwork myself?

No. At the artwork step you can upload your own print-ready file at no extra cost, or add the Professional artwork and design service for £36.00 and have a designer prepare the layout. Once you have a finished layout, the same branding can be reused on other items from the shop.

Can I collect my table runners in Manchester?

Yes, collection is available from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. Prefer them sent? UK delivery can be chosen at checkout, where its cost is shown before you pay. The areas we cover page lists the towns and services handled from Manchester.

Where do businesses use branded table runners?

Restaurants and hotels lay them along dining tables, while event organisers use them on reception desks, registration tables and trade stands. A printed runner puts a logo at eye level without covering the whole table. For a bigger stand presence, look at our exhibition graphics alongside the runners.

Asked by buyers 22

Should I choose the 600mm or the 800mm wide runner?

Pick the width that suits how much of the tabletop you want branded. The 800mm x 2200mm runner gives a broader printed band, while the 600mm x 2200mm version leaves more of the table surface showing on each side. Measure your table before ordering, and if neither width fits, request a quote for a custom size.

Is the runner length fixed at 2200mm?

On this page, yes. Both listed sizes are 2200mm long and only the width changes. For a long banqueting table, some buyers place two runners end to end, which the quantity options allow. A runner made to a different length would be a custom job outside the dropdowns.

Which options do I choose before adding a runner to my cart?

There are two dropdowns: Size and Quantity. After that you choose how the artwork will be supplied and add the order to your cart. Nothing else needs configuring, which keeps a table runner order quick. If you also want paper items for the table, see Paper Placemats.

What fabric are the table runners made from?

The product page describes table runners as printed textiles but does not list a specific fabric name or weight. If the material matters for your venue, for example how it drapes or how it should be cared for, message the team through our contact page before you order and ask for the details.

Does the price per runner drop when I order more?

It does. One runner is £79.18, but 20 runners come to £700.90 and 50 come to £1,729.01 on the cheapest size, which works out far lower per piece. Those are the cheapest combinations for each quantity, and the configurator shows the live figure for the size you pick.

What is the largest quantity I can order online?

The Quantity dropdown goes up to 50 runners. Between 20 and 50 it moves in steps of five, so 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 are all available. For a hotel group or a large conference needing more than 50, ask for a price through Get a Quote.

Can I order runners for several tables with different designs?

Each line in your cart carries one design, so separate designs are best added as separate cart items. That way each runner is printed with the right artwork. If you are planning a mixed set for an event, such as one runner per sponsor, a quick message beforehand helps keep the files in order.

What file should I send for a table runner?

A print-ready PDF made at the full finished size is the safest choice, so 800mm x 2200mm or 600mm x 2200mm depending on what you order. Because the runner is long and narrow, plan your logo and text placement with that shape in mind. Other large-format print is covered on our large format printing page.

What does the £36.00 design service cover?

Choosing the Professional artwork and design service adds £36.00 and means a designer puts the runner layout together for you, rather than you supplying a finished file. It suits buyers who have a logo but no print layout. You select it in the artwork options before adding the runner to your cart.

How should I lay out a design on such a long runner?

Think about where people will actually see it. On a dining table the ends often hang over the edge, while on a trade stand the front drop faces visitors. Placing the logo where it will be visible matters more than filling every inch. Our event backdrop printing page has ideas for coordinating branding across a whole event space.

Can I match my runner to other printed items on the table?

Yes, using the same artwork across several items gives a consistent look. Runners pair well with tent cards for table numbers or offers, and with custom printed coasters for drinks. Order each item from its own product page with the same files.

How do I order a printed table runner?

Choose your size and quantity, watch the price update, then pick an artwork option and add the runner to your cart. Checkout is by card through Stripe, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Delivery or collection is chosen during checkout.

Can a business order table runners without paying by card?

Online orders on this page are paid by card at checkout through Stripe, covering Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If your organisation has a different purchasing process, for example for a large event order, talk to the team via our contact page about how to proceed.

Who prints the table runners?

Runners are produced by WEB PRINT & SIGNS LIMITED, a Manchester print and signs company trading since 2003. Besides table textiles, the company handles signage, vehicle graphics, websites and SEO. You can read more about the business on the about page.

Can I get table runners delivered outside Manchester?

Yes. UK delivery is available and the cost appears at checkout once your address is entered. Allow for the delivery time on top of the roughly 6 working days of production. Businesses closer to the city can see local coverage on the areas we cover page.

Where do I pick up a collection order?

Collection is from the Manchester studio at Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. Choose collection at checkout so the order is held for you rather than sent out. You can ring 0161 315 1151 to check the runners are ready before making the trip.

Can runners be delivered straight to an event venue?

UK delivery goes to the address you enter at checkout, so a hotel or venue address can be used. Check with the venue that someone will accept the parcel and store it safely before your event. Leave enough time for both production and transit when the event date is fixed.

Are table runners a good fit for trade show stands?

They work well on stand tables, because a runner brands the top of the table while leaving room for literature and samples. Many exhibitors add a roller banner behind the table so the brand also shows above head height. Together they make a compact, portable stand.

How do restaurants use printed table runners?

Restaurants use runners to bring their branding or a seasonal theme onto the dining table without replacing every tablecloth. A runner down the centre of a long table also frames the place settings. Pair it with menus from our menu printing Manchester service for a matching look.

Can I use a table runner at a wedding or private party?

Yes. A runner can carry names, a date, a monogram or a pattern for a top table or guest tables. Since you can order from one runner upwards, it suits a single top table as well as a full room. Our invitation printing service can carry the same design onto the invitations.

Should I choose a runner or a full tablecloth?

A runner is the lighter option: it brands a strip down the table and lets your own table surface or cloth show either side. A full printed cloth covers the whole table and hides anything stored underneath. For that full-coverage look, see our Tablecloths page.

Can a hotel reception desk use a table runner?

Yes, a runner laid across a reception or registration desk puts your logo where every guest checks in. The 600mm wide size suits narrower desks, while 800mm gives more printed area. Hotels often extend the branding with directional signs around the building.
