Which paper should I choose for a folded wall planner?

Four papers are listed: 130gsm and 170gsm Art Paper, each in a Silk or Gloss Finish. 170gsm Art Paper Gloss Finish is the standard specification and the heavier of the two weights; 130gsm is lighter, which helps if planners are going in the post. What size are folded wall planners?

You can choose A2 or A1 for the open planner. Both fold down to A4, so they are easy to slip into a folder or a mailing for handing out. A1 gives a larger grid for teams who write a lot on the planner, while A2 suits a narrower wall. For a custom flat size, use Get a Quote.

How much does a folded wall planner order cost?

Prices begin at £171.82 for 125 planners on the cheapest combination of size, paper and folding, and 500 come to £402.34 on the same basis. What is the difference between the two folding options?

Cross folded to A4 folds the sheet at right angles, map style, until it reaches A4. Concertina folded then folded in half to A4 pleats the sheet back and forth first, then folds it once more. How long do folded wall planners take?

Production usually takes around 5 working days. Treat that as a guide, not a deadline, and add delivery time if you are not collecting. What do Print Inside and Print Outside mean?

The Folded With dropdown sets which way the printed face sits once the sheet is folded to A4. Print Inside folds the printed side inwards, and Print Outside folds it so the print shows on the outside of the folded planner. If you are unsure how your layout will look once folded, ask via our contact page before you order.

Can you design my wall planner?

Yes. Select the Professional artwork and design service (+£36.00) at the artwork step and send your logo, colours, start month and any key dates. The planner grid is then laid out for you. If you already have a print-ready file, the supply-your-own option is free. Matching letterheads can carry the same branding.

Is Silk or Gloss better for a wall planner?

Both finishes come in 130gsm and 170gsm, so the choice is mostly about the look you want and how the planner will be used. If staff will be writing on it every day, check with the team which finish suits the pens you use before ordering. Our calendar printing page covers the wider range.

What is the standard paper on this planner?

The standard specification is 170gsm Art Paper Gloss Finish, the first option in the Paper Type dropdown. You can switch to 170gsm Silk, or drop to 130gsm in either finish, and the price recalculates straight away. Can wall planners be laminated?

There is no lamination dropdown on this product; the finish comes from the paper itself, either Silk or Gloss. If you need a laminated or wipe-clean planner for heavy daily use, describe it on the Get a Quote form and the team will price it as a custom job.

How big is an A1 planner on the wall?

A1 measures 594mm x 841mm opened out, twice the area of A2 at 420mm x 594mm. That makes A1 the better pick for a whole-team planner with names or projects down the side, while A2 fits above a desk or in a kitchen. For a single unfolded print at these sizes, see our poster printing service.

Why are the planners folded to A4?

Folding to A4 makes them easy to post, pack into a folder or hand out at an event, and the recipient simply opens them out to hang. Both folding options finish at A4, whichever size you choose. Can I order a wall planner flat, without folds?

Folding is built into this product, with two options: Cross folded to A4, or Concertina folded then folded in half to A4. If you want a flat planner that goes straight onto the wall with no fold lines, large format printing is the better route for that kind of job.

Can I choose a different fold?

Only the two folds in the Folding dropdown are offered online. A different fold, such as a single fold or a fold down to a size other than A4, is a custom job, so ask through the contact page with the flat size, the folded size and the quantity you need.

What is the minimum order for folded wall planners?

The smallest run is 125. From there the dropdown moves to 250, 500, 1000 and 2000. If you need far fewer, say a dozen for one office, a calendar sold from a single copy such as Thumb Cut Calendars may suit you better.

How much are 1000 folded wall planners?

On the cheapest combination, 1000 planners cost £588.14 and 2000 cost £936.94, so a bigger run brings the cost of each planner down noticeably. Your size, paper and folding choices set the real total, which the configurator shows live before you add the order to your cart.

Does A1 cost more than A2?

The price depends on size, so switching between A2 and A1 changes the total. With your paper, folding and quantity already set, flip the Size dropdown back and forth and the configurator shows both figures. Do the same with the Paper Type dropdown to see how much the heavier 170gsm adds.

What file should I supply for a folded wall planner?

Can the planner start in any month?

Yes. The layout is your artwork, so a planner can run January to December, September to August for a school, or April to March for a financial year. Check every date against the right year before you send the file. The design service can build any of these layouts for you if you prefer.

Can I add my logo and contact details?

How do I place an order for wall planners?

Yes, folding to A4 is part of production, using whichever folding option you picked. That keeps the planners compact for delivery or collection and ready to hand out or post straight away. The recipient opens the sheet out to A2 or A1 when they want to hang it.
