Quick answers

Which lamination finish should I choose for laminated flyers?

Pick Both Sides (Gloss) for punchy colour and shine, Both Sides (Matt) for a calm, low-glare look, or Both Sides (Soft Touch) for a velvety feel in the hand. All three cover front and back. If you are unsure which suits your artwork, our flyer printing Manchester page explains how finish changes the way a flyer comes across.

How much do laminated flyers cost?

The lowest price is £45.34 for 50 flyers on the cheapest mix of size, board and lamination. At 1000 the cheapest combination is £75.00. Bigger sizes, the 450gsm board and double-sided print all change the figure, and the configurator shows the live total as you choose. For a run or size not listed, use Get a Quote.

How long do laminated flyers take to produce?

Production usually takes around 5 working days. Treat that as a typical figure, not a fixed date, and allow extra time for delivery unless you collect. When the flyers are tied to a launch or event date, get in touch first so the team can talk the timing through with you.

What is the difference between 350gsm and 450gsm Art Board Silk Finish?

Both are silk art board; 450gsm is the heavier and stiffer of the two, while 350gsm is the standard specification. With lamination on both faces, either one feels substantial. Choose 450gsm when the flyer has to stand up to a lot of handling. If you don't need a laminate at all, compare the plain Flyers page.

What sizes can laminated flyers be printed in?

Nine sizes are listed: A7, A6, A5, A4, A3, 1/3 A4 (DL), and three squares at 105mm x 105mm, 148mm x 148mm and 210mm x 210mm. A6 and DL are the usual handout formats, while A4 and A3 suit counter displays. For any other dimensions, ask for a custom size quote.

Can I collect laminated flyers instead of having them delivered?

Yes. You can pick your order up from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. UK delivery is also available, and the cost appears at checkout before you pay. To see which towns and boroughs we regularly work in, take a look at areas we cover.

Are laminated flyers laminated on both sides even if printed on one side?

Yes. Every lamination option on this page is applied to both sides, so a Single Sided flyer still gets a laminated back. That keeps the plain reverse protected and consistent in feel. If you want a folded piece with the same kind of coating, see Folded & Laminated Leaflets.

Asked by buyers 22

Does Soft Touch lamination show fingerprints?

The product facts don't say how any of the three laminates handles fingerprints, so we won't claim anything. Soft Touch is chosen mainly for its smooth, suede-like feel, while Matt gives a flat finish and Gloss gives shine. If marks are a worry for your use, ask the team which finish they'd suggest for your design.

Will gloss lamination make my photos look brighter?

Gloss lamination adds shine, which tends to make photographs and strong colours look rich and vivid. It also reflects light, so text can be harder to read under bright spotlights. For a menu-style flyer read in a lit café, Matt is often the calmer option. Both appear in the Lamination dropdown at no change to the paper choice.

Why would I laminate a flyer at all?

Lamination gives a flyer a tougher surface and a more premium feel, which helps when it will be handled many times, left on counters or carried around outside. Promotions that need to last beyond a single glance suit it well. If your flyer is a one-off handout, unlaminated Uncoated Flyers may be all you need.

Can I write on a laminated flyer?

The laminate covers both faces, so these flyers are not the natural pick when people need to fill in details by hand. For a voucher or form that customers write on, an uncoated stock is the usual answer, as its natural surface takes a pen easily. Compare Uncoated Flyers, which offers several smooth and textured papers.

Which size works best for a laminated price list?

A5 and A4 give enough room for a full list of services and prices without cramming. A5 fits neatly beside a till, while A4 reads well on a reception desk or wall. For takeaway menus specifically, our menu printing Manchester page covers formats designed around food and drink.

Is the 105mm square size practical for laminated flyers?

Yes. Square 105mm x 105mm is compact and pocket-friendly, which makes it useful as a loyalty reminder, discount card or event pass. The laminate gives a compact piece like this a firm, card-like feel. If you want a true card format instead, see loyalty card printing Manchester.

Should I print laminated flyers on one side or both?

Double Sided lets you put the offer on the front and the details, map or terms on the back, which makes better use of a laminated piece. Single Sided keeps the cost lower and works when the message is short. Whichever you pick, the reverse is still laminated. Switch the Sides Printed dropdown to see the price change.

What are the quantity steps for laminated flyers?

The Quantity dropdown starts at 50 and moves through 100, 200, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 2500, then climbs in larger steps up to 50000. That covers a short local test as well as a city-wide drop. If you need a figure that falls between the listed steps, request a quote for the exact number.

How does the price per flyer change with bigger runs?

The unit cost falls sharply as quantity rises. On the cheapest combination, 5000 flyers come to £164.50, while 50000 come to £1,273.82, far less per piece than a run of 50. Your own total depends on size, board, sides and lamination, so check the live figure on the configurator before ordering.

Do different laminate finishes cost different amounts?

The Lamination dropdown is part of the price calculation, so switching between Gloss, Matt and Soft Touch can change the total. The quickest way to compare is to set your size and quantity first, then flick through the three finishes and watch the price update. Nothing is charged until you check out.

Can I order a sample run before a large laminated print?

The smallest listed quantity is 50, which works well as a trial batch to test a finish or message before committing to thousands. Once you are happy, you can reorder the same options at a larger quantity. Browse the full flyers and leaflets range if you want to trial a different stock too.

What artwork file should I send for laminated flyers?

A print-ready PDF at the finished size of the flyer you picked is the safest file to supply. Keep important text away from the trimmed edge, and set up both pages if you chose Double Sided. If you have questions about setting up your file, contact the studio before you order.

Can someone design my laminated flyer for me?

Yes. Choose the Professional artwork and design service in the artwork options and a designer will create the layout for you; the add-on price is shown in that option on the product page. Supplying your own print-ready artwork costs nothing extra. For a wider brand job, see our Logo & Brand Refresh service.

Do dark designs work well with matt lamination?

Dark, moody layouts are a popular match for Matt and Soft Touch finishes because the low sheen keeps deep colours looking solid rather than reflective. Make sure small text has enough contrast against a dark background so it stays readable. For more ideas on presenting a premium brand in print, visit luxury business cards Manchester.

How do I place an order for laminated flyers?

Choose your size, paper type, sides printed, lamination and quantity from the dropdowns, and the price recalculates with each change. Pick one of the two artwork options, add the flyers to your cart, then pay by card at checkout. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted through Stripe.

Can I order laminated flyers alongside other print in one checkout?

Yes. Add the laminated flyers to your cart, then carry on browsing and add anything else you need, such as business cards or posters, before paying once at checkout. The shop lists every printed product, and the business cards Manchester page is a good place to match your flyer branding.

Who prints the laminated flyers?

WEB PRINT & SIGNS LIMITED, a Manchester print, signs and web company working since 2003. Orders are produced at the Manchester studio and can be collected from Bury New Road or sent out across the UK. Read more about the business on our about page.

Is UK-wide delivery available for laminated flyers?

Yes, laminated flyers can be delivered anywhere in the UK. The delivery cost is calculated and shown at checkout, so you can see it before you pay. If you are near north Manchester, collecting from the Bury New Road studio is another option and saves waiting for a parcel.

Can I collect from the Manchester studio on a set day?

Collection from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB is available once your order is ready. Production is typically around 5 working days, so plan your pickup after that. To arrange a convenient time, call 0161 315 1151 or send a WhatsApp message to 07737 902425.

What are laminated flyers good for?

They suit anything that gets picked up again and again: salon price lists, café offers on tables, gym timetables, event guides and property details. The laminate helps them keep looking smart for longer than a plain sheet. For mailing them out, see our direct mail flyers Manchester service.

Can laminated flyers be used on a shop counter display?

Yes. An A5 or A4 laminated flyer stands up to being picked up and put back on a counter far better than unlaminated paper. Pair it with a stand or table talker for the best effect. Our point of sale printing Manchester page covers counter displays that work alongside flyers.

Can a laminated flyer point people to my website?

Yes. Add a short web address or a QR code so people can go straight from the flyer to an offer page. That only pays off if the page they land on loads fast and explains the offer clearly. We also build those pages; see landing page design Manchester.
