Quick answers

What sizes do your bottle neck tags come in?

There are two formats: Bottle 65 x 140 mm and Bottle 65 x 160 mm. Both share the same 65 mm width, so the choice comes down to how much copy you need. The longer tag gives an extra 20 mm for tasting notes, ingredients or a QR code. For a different shape or size, send the details through Get a Quote.

How much are custom printed bottle neck tags?

The starting price is £71.95 for 25 tags on the cheapest combination of format and lamination. At 1000 tags the cheapest combination is £222.94, so the cost per tag falls sharply as the run grows. The configurator shows the live total for the exact options you pick, before anything goes in your cart. See the wider cards, invitations and tags range for related items.

Which lamination works best on a bottle neck tag?

You can pick Gloss single sided, Matt single sided, Soft Touch single sided or None. Gloss is the standard specification and suits bright, punchy branding. Matt gives a flatter look that sits well with craft labels, and Soft Touch adds a velvety feel when someone picks the bottle up. If you are matching tags to existing labels, our packaging label printing page covers the labels side.

How long do bottle neck tags take to print?

Production is typically around 3 working days once your order and artwork are in. Treat it as a guide, not a fixed date, and allow for delivery on top unless you collect. If the tags are needed for a launch, a tasting event or a market stall on a set date, get in touch before ordering so the timing can be talked through.

Who orders bottle neck tags?

Breweries, distilleries, gin and wine sellers, and artisan food producers bottling sauces, oils or cordials. A tag carries branding, a short story about the product or a special offer without changing the main label. For gift sets, pair them with Printed Bottle Bags or a Bottle Box.

Can you design my bottle neck tag for me?

Yes. At the artwork step choose the Professional artwork and design service for £36.00 on top of the print price, and a designer will lay the tag out for you. If you already have print-ready files, supplying your own artwork is free. If your brand itself needs work first, have a look at our Logo and Brand Refresh.

Can I collect my bottle neck tags in Manchester?

Yes, collection is available from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. If you would rather have them sent, UK delivery is available and the cost appears at checkout before you pay. The areas we cover page lists the towns and services we work across.

Asked by buyers 22

Is the 65 x 160 mm format worth the extra length?

It is if you have more to say. A 65 x 140 mm tag holds a logo, product name and one or two lines of copy comfortably. The 65 x 160 mm format gives room for serving suggestions, an ABV line, allergen notes or a scannable code without cramming. Mock both up at actual size on a real bottle before you decide.

Will the tag fit the neck of my particular bottle?

The tag widths are fixed at 65 mm in both formats, but bottle necks vary between beer, wine, spirits and sauce bottles. If you are unsure whether the tag will sit properly on your bottle, ask us before you order and give the bottle type and neck size so the format can be checked against it.

Can I order a tag shape that isn't listed?

The configurator offers the two Bottle formats only. A different outline, an unusual size or a run outside the listed quantities can be priced separately through Get a Quote. Include the dimensions, the quantity and the bottle it is going on so the quote matches what you need.

Does lamination cover both sides of the tag?

The lamination options on this product are all listed as single sided: Gloss single sided, Matt single sided and Soft Touch single sided. You can also choose None if you would prefer an unlaminated finish. Pick the one that matches the look of your bottle labels, and check the live price as you switch between them.

When would I choose no lamination at all?

Choosing None keeps the tag simple and can suit a natural, hand-finished look for small-batch drinks or farm shop produce. It is also a way to compare prices, since each lamination choice changes the total. For a rustic tag material on clothing or gifts, the Swing Tags range offers Kraft and Linen.

Is Soft Touch a good match for premium spirits?

Many distillers like Soft Touch single sided because the tag feels different in the hand from a standard printed label, which suits a gift bottle. Gloss suits a bolder, brighter design. If the bottle is part of a boxed gift, look at the Bottle Box so the packaging and tag can carry the same branding.

What is the smallest order I can place?

The lowest quantity is 25 tags, which suits a trial batch, a limited release or a one-off event. From there the dropdown steps through 50, 75, 100, 250 and 500 up to 10000. Picking the quantity first and then trying the lamination and format options shows you how each choice moves the price.

What does a large run of 10000 tags cost?

On the cheapest combination of options, 10000 bottle neck tags come to £956.62. That makes the high quantities far more economical per tag than short runs, which is useful for a core product line that sells steadily. For volumes beyond 10000 or split designs across one order, ask through Get a Quote.

Can I print several flavours or products in one order?

Each configured order is for one design, so separate flavours are normally ordered as separate items in your cart. If you have a range of variants that share a layout and want them priced together, talk to us about a multi-design run and list the variants and quantities you need.

What file should I send for a bottle neck tag?

A print-ready PDF made at the finished size of your chosen format is the safest option, so a 65 x 140 mm or 65 x 160 mm artboard. Keep important text and logos away from the edges of the tag. If you are not sure your file is set up correctly, the team on 0161 315 1151 can talk you through it.

What should go on a bottle neck tag?

Keep it focused: brand name, the product, and one reason to buy, such as a tasting note, a pairing tip or a seasonal offer. A short web address or social handle sends buyers back to you. If that link leads to an online shop, our ecommerce website design team can build the page they land on.

Can I use the same design as my bottle labels?

Yes, reusing colours, fonts and logos from your main label keeps the bottle consistent on the shelf. The tag is a separate print, so your file needs to be set up at the tag size rather than the label size. For the labels themselves, our product label printing service covers stickers and roll labels.

How do I place an order for bottle neck tags?

Choose the lamination, the format and the quantity from the dropdowns, and the price updates as you go. Then pick an artwork option, add the tags to your cart and pay by card at checkout. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted through Stripe.

Can a trade customer get a quote instead of paying online?

Online card payment is the standard route for the listed options. If you need a bespoke size, a mixed-design run or a volume outside the dropdown, request a price through the Get a Quote form and the team will come back to you with figures for that job. If the tags are part of a wider pack, the custom packaging boxes service can be quoted alongside.

Is UK delivery available for bottle neck tags?

Yes, the tags can be delivered anywhere in the UK, and the delivery cost is shown at checkout so you see the full total before paying. Customers close to north Manchester often collect instead. The about page explains who we are and how we work.

Where do I pick up my tags if I collect?

Collection is from our studio at Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. If you are travelling in specially, phone 0161 315 1151 or message on WhatsApp at 07737 902425 first to check the order is ready. Delivery to the rest of the UK is also available at checkout.

Do bottle neck tags work for craft beer?

They do. A tag lets a brewery add a seasonal story, a festival message or a food pairing to a core bottle without reprinting the main label. Breweries that sell from a taproom often add Beer Mat Printing so the bar and the bottle share one look.

Are bottle neck tags useful for wedding or party favours?

Yes. Small bottles of wine, prosecco or homemade cordial look more personal with a tag carrying names, a date or a thank-you note. Order 25 or 50 for a single event. If you are also sending out invites, our Invitations can be designed in the same style.

Can I use the tag to promote an offer or competition?

A neck tag is a good place for a limited promotion because it can be removed or swapped without touching the permanent label. Print a discount code, a QR code to a competition page or a recipe. For handouts at the till or in a delivery box, Flyers pair well with the tags.

Do food producers use bottle neck tags too?

Yes, they are not just for drinks. Makers of oils, vinegars, sauces, honey and syrups use them to add a recipe idea or a story about where the product comes from. For jars and boxes rather than bottles, the Stickers on a Sheet product is worth a look.

Can retailers use tags on bottles they stock rather than make?

Yes. Delis and bottle shops sometimes hang their own tags on featured bottles to add staff picks or price messages. For shelf messaging, our price tag printing page covers tags for prices and promotions, and the neck tag carries the extra story.
