Quick answers

Which papers can I choose for creative business cards?

Seven stocks sit in the Paper Type dropdown: 300gsm Textured Uncoated, 375gsm Woven Bamboo, 325gsm Hemp Blend, 350gsm Textured Linen, 300gsm Pearl, 300gsm Uncoated Cotton and 300gsm Brown Kraft. The page defaults to 300gsm Pearl. If you need a stock that is not on that list, describe it through Get a Quote.

What is the cheapest way to order these cards?

The lowest price is £24.46 for 100 cards on the least expensive combination of paper, sides and corners. Each dropdown you change moves the total, and the live price is shown before anything goes in your cart. To see how other card types compare, browse the business cards category.

What size are Double Sided Creative Business Cards?

They are 85 x 55mm, the familiar wallet size, and that size is fixed on this product. It fits standard card holders and slips easily into a purse or jacket pocket. If you want a square format instead, take a look at Square Business Cards.

Can I order these cards printed on one side only?

Yes. Despite the name, the Sides Printed dropdown includes Single Sided as well as Double Sided. One-sided print suits a bold logo card with nothing on the back, while two sides give room for contact details and a second design. For more layout ideas, see our business cards Manchester page.

How long does production take?

Production typically takes around 4 working days. It is a guide rather than a promise, and delivery time is added unless you collect from the studio. If the cards are needed for a fixed date such as a trade show or opening, contact the team before ordering so the timing can be checked.

Should I add rounded corners?

The Round Corners dropdown offers None or Yes. Rounded corners give a softer outline that many designers and makers prefer, while square corners keep a classic, formal edge. Choose before adding to your cart, as it is part of the price. Other finishing ideas are on our luxury business cards page.

Can I collect creative business cards from Manchester?

Yes, collection is available from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. If you would rather have them sent, UK delivery is on offer and the cost is displayed at checkout. Places we serve around Greater Manchester and beyond are listed on areas we cover.

Asked by buyers 22

What is the difference between 300gsm Textured Uncoated and 350gsm Textured Linen?

Both are textured stocks, but they differ in weight and surface. 300gsm Textured Uncoated is the lighter of the two, while 350gsm Textured Linen is heavier and named for its linen-style texture. If texture is the main reason you are buying, Textured Business Cards are worth comparing too.

Which is the heaviest paper on this product?

375gsm Woven Bamboo is the heaviest option in the list, followed by 350gsm Textured Linen and 325gsm Hemp Blend. The remaining four stocks are all 300gsm. If you want a card thicker than any of these, Triplex Business Cards are the range's layered option.

When would I pick 300gsm Brown Kraft?

Brown Kraft suits brands with a natural, handmade or rustic look, such as bakeries, coffee roasters, florists and craft makers. Its brown colour becomes part of the design, so plan your ink colours around it. If you are planning swing tags or labels to match, see Swing Tags.

Are bamboo, hemp and cotton papers available here?

Yes. 375gsm Woven Bamboo, 325gsm Hemp Blend and 300gsm Uncoated Cotton are all in the Paper Type dropdown. The names describe what the stocks are made from or blended with. For a card on recycled stock, look at Recycled Business Cards as well.

Is 300gsm Pearl the standard choice?

It is the stock listed as the standard specification for this product, so it is a sensible place to start. You can change it to any of the six other papers before checkout, and the price updates as you do. If you cannot decide between stocks, ask the team which suits your design.

Can I order a different card size?

Not on this page, as the size is fixed at 85 x 55mm. Square cards are available separately, and other formats can be priced on request. Use the quote form with your size, paper and quantity, and the team will come back with a price.

Do rounded corners suit every paper?

The Round Corners dropdown sits alongside the paper choice, so you can pair Yes with whichever stock you select and the price shows the result. Rounded corners often suit softer, crafted brands on papers like cotton or kraft. Square corners keep a sharper finish for formal designs.

How many creative business cards can I order?

The Quantity dropdown runs 100, 250, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 5000. That covers a first run for a freelancer up to a large stock for a busy office. For a figure between those steps or above 5000, send the details through Get a Quote.

What do 500 or 1000 creative cards cost?

On the cheapest combination of options, 500 cards are £70.03 and 1000 are £99.53. Heavier or speciality papers, Double Sided print and rounded corners can all change the figure, so check the live total in the configurator after making your selections.

Is 5000 cards good value for a team?

Larger runs bring the cost per card down. On the lowest-priced setup, 5000 cards come to £348.70, compared with £24.46 for 100. If the whole team shares one design apart from names, ask about splitting the run before you order, as each name needs its own artwork.

Does the paper type change the price?

Yes. Each stock is priced differently, and the total refreshes whenever you change the Paper Type dropdown. Try a couple of papers at your chosen quantity to see the difference before deciding. Sides Printed and Round Corners also affect the final figure you pay.

What should go on the back of a double sided card?

Use the back for something the front cannot hold: a list of services, opening hours, a short tagline, a portfolio image or your social handles. Many creatives keep the front to a logo and put contact details behind it. If your branding needs tidying first, see our Logo and Brand Refresh service.

What file should I send for these cards?

A print-ready PDF built at 85 x 55mm is the safest choice, with one page per printed side. Keep text and logos away from the trim edge, especially if you choose rounded corners. If you have questions about setting up the file, get in touch before uploading.

Can someone design both sides for me?

Yes. Pick the Professional artwork and design service (+£36.00) at the artwork step and both faces are laid out for you from your logo, wording and any images you send. It suits busy owners and anyone without design software. The free option is for customers supplying their own print-ready files.

How do I place an order?

Set Paper Type, Sides Printed, Round Corners and Quantity, watching the price change as you go. Choose your artwork option, add the cards to your cart and pay by card at checkout through Stripe, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can keep browsing the print shop before paying.

Can I order cards on two different papers?

Yes, add each version to your cart separately with its own paper choice and artwork. Some businesses use one stock for directors and another for general staff, or test two papers on short runs of 100. Every item in the cart is paid for together at checkout.

Is UK delivery available for creative business cards?

Yes. Cards can be sent anywhere in the UK, and the delivery charge is calculated at checkout before you pay. If you are local, collection from the Manchester studio is also an option. Remember to allow for production time on top of transit when planning.

Can I ring someone about my order?

Yes. Call 0161 315 1151, message on WhatsApp at 07737 902425, or email hello@webprintsigns.co.uk. The team can help with paper choices, artwork questions or larger quantities. More background on the company is on the about Web Print Signs page.

Who usually buys creative business cards?

Designers, photographers, illustrators and other creatives use them to show off their style, and consultants use them to carry a brand message. Two printed sides give room for a portfolio image as well as contact details. Sole traders and new start-ups often choose them too; our business cards Manchester page has more examples.

Which paper suits a wedding or events business?

300gsm Pearl and 300gsm Uncoated Cotton both suit softer, more formal styles often used by planners and stationers, while Brown Kraft fits a rustic theme. Match the paper to your invitation style for a joined-up look. Our invitation printing page covers the matching stationery.

What can I order alongside creative business cards?

Flyers and postcards in the same style carry your design further at markets, fairs and studios. Many makers also add packaging extras such as tags. Take a look at Postcards or the flyers and leaflets range to plan a matching set.

Is this a good choice for a first business card?

Yes. Starting at 100 cards keeps the first order modest, and the choice of seven papers lets you find a stock that suits your brand from the outset. Once you know what works, reorder larger quantities on the same paper. Local start-ups can also ask about websites on our web design Manchester page.
