Quick answers

What sizes can tent cards be printed in?

Three sizes are offered: A6 Portrait, A5 Portrait and DL Triangle. A6 is the compact choice for a table number or a single offer, A5 gives more room for a drinks list or event details, and DL Triangle is a triangular format built on the DL size. Other formats can be priced through Get a Quote.

How much do tent cards cost?

Ten tent cards start at £17.42 on the cheapest combination of size and coating. A run of 100 starts at £93.29. The price on the product page changes live as you pick size, coating and quantity, so the final figure depends on your choices. Compare other table print in the menus and hospitality range.

Which coating should I choose for tent cards?

The Coating dropdown has three settings: Soft Touch Lamination (both sides), UV Varnish (outer only) and None. Lamination covers both faces of the card, varnish is applied to the outside only, and None leaves the card uncoated. If you want advice on which suits your venue, ask the team before ordering.

How quickly are tent cards printed?

Tent cards typically take around 6 working days to produce. That is a guide, not a fixed date, and delivery time is extra unless you collect. Planning a promotion for a set weekend? Order early, and pair the cards with A-board signs outside to bring people in.

What is the minimum order for tent cards?

The smallest quantity is 10. From there the dropdown steps to 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500 and 1000. Ten is handy for a test run of a new offer or a handful of tables. For a chain of venues needing a bigger run, see our table talker printing page.

Can someone design my tent cards for me?

Yes. At the artwork step choose the Professional artwork and design service for £36.00, or upload your own print-ready file for free. The design service is useful if you have offers and prices but no layout. For more promotional print ideas, look at point of sale printing.

Can I collect tent cards from Manchester?

Yes, choose collection at checkout and pick them up from Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. UK delivery is also available, with the cost shown at checkout before payment. The areas we cover page lists the wider region WPS serves.

What is a DL Triangle tent card?

It is a tent card based on the DL size that stands as a triangle rather than in the A6 or A5 Portrait shape. The triangular shape lets it be read from more than one direction on a table or counter. Ask the team how the faces are laid out before you build artwork, or request a quote for a different format.

Should I pick A6 Portrait or A5 Portrait?

Go by how much text you need. A6 Portrait suits a table number, a QR code or one headline offer. A5 Portrait has room for a short drinks list, a set menu or event dates without crowding the layout. On a narrow bistro table, the A6 takes up less space.

What card stock are the tent cards printed on?

The product page does not list a paper weight or stock name for tent cards. The choices you control are size, coating and quantity. If the card weight matters for your use, check with the team via contact us before you place the order.

What does Soft Touch Lamination (both sides) do?

It applies a soft touch laminate to both faces of the card, front and back. Choose it when you want both printed sides finished the same way. The other options are UV Varnish (outer only) or no coating at all, and each choice is reflected in the live price.

When would I choose UV Varnish (outer only)?

Choose it when you want a coating on the outside of the card, the faces customers see, while the inside stays uncoated. It sits between None and full lamination in the dropdown. For hard-wearing menus on the table, also compare Waterproof Menus.

Is there any reason to choose no coating?

None is a sensible pick for short-lived cards, such as a one-night event, a weekly special or a trial offer you plan to replace soon. It keeps the order simple. Pick a coating instead if the cards will stay out on tables for a long stretch.

How does the price per card change at 500 or 1000?

The cost per card drops as the run grows. On the cheapest combination, 500 tent cards come to £455.06 and 1000 come to £910.20. Those figures are starting points, and the configurator shows the live price for the size and coating you select.

Can I split one order across several designs?

Each cart line is one design. If you want a lunch card and a dinner card, add them as two separate items with their own quantities. Ordering 10 or 25 of each keeps a multi-design set affordable while you test what works. Kids or brunch menus can go on paper placemats instead.

What if I need more than 1000 tent cards?

The dropdown stops at 1000. For a larger run, perhaps across a group of venues, send the size, coating and number you need through Get a Quote and the team will price it for you.

What file format works best for tent cards?

A print-ready PDF at the finished size is the safest choice. Remember the card is folded or shaped, so lay each face out the right way up for when the card is standing. If you are unsure how to set the panels, get help from the team.

What should I put on a restaurant tent card?

Keep it to one clear job: a dessert offer, a drinks promotion, a table number, a Wi-Fi code or a QR code to your menu or booking page. Short headlines read best from a seated position. If the QR code points to your website, our web design team can make sure the page works on mobile.

Can tent cards match my menus and coasters?

Yes, reusing your fonts, colours and logo across table items makes the whole setting look planned. Pair tent cards with Creased Menus and printed beer mats for a consistent table.

How do I place a tent card order?

Pick a size, a coating and a quantity, check the live price, then choose your artwork option and add the cards to your cart. Pay by card through Stripe, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Delivery or collection is selected at checkout.

Does the design service fee apply per card?

The Professional artwork and design service is a single £36.00 option chosen at the artwork step for the order line, not a charge on each card. It covers a designer preparing your layout. Choosing your own print-ready file instead costs nothing extra.

Can tent cards be sent anywhere in the UK?

Yes. UK delivery is available and the cost for your address appears at checkout. Allow for transit on top of the roughly 6 working days of production. Venues in and around the city can also check local coverage on the areas we cover page.

How do I know when a collection order is ready?

Choose collection at checkout and the order is held at the Manchester studio, Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. To check before travelling, call 0161 315 1151 or send a WhatsApp to 07737 902425. You can also email hello@webprintsigns.co.uk.

Are tent cards useful outside restaurants?

Yes. Hotels use them on bedside tables and reception desks, bars use them for drinks offers, and conferences use them as name cards or table numbers. Shops put them by the till for a promotion. Bigger in-store displays are covered by point of sale printing.

Can I use tent cards to push a loyalty scheme?

They work well for it. A card on each table telling customers about stamps or rewards reaches people while they are already spending. Back it up with physical cards from our loyalty card printing service so staff can hand them out.

Do tent cards work for weddings and events?

Yes, as table numbers, name cards on a top table or small signs for a bar or dessert station. The A6 Portrait size is often enough for a number and a name. For printed tickets to the same event, see our event ticket printing page.

How often should a venue refresh its tent cards?

That depends on the message. Seasonal menus and monthly offers need new cards each time, which suits shorter runs of 10 to 50. Permanent messages, such as a Wi-Fi code, can be printed in larger quantities with a coating so they stay presentable for longer.

Can tent cards help promote my Google listing?

A QR code on a tent card can link guests to your Google Business Profile so they can find you again or leave feedback. Make sure the profile is complete first. Our Google Business Profile service can set it up properly.

What else should a bar order alongside tent cards?

Bars often add drink-side print such as custom coasters, plus posters for upcoming events. Everything is ordered from separate product pages and can go through one checkout. Our poster printing page covers wall promotion.
