Sign Face Replacement Eccles

Eccles shops, cafes and trade units often have sign frames in good condition but faces that have faded, cracked or show an old name. We make new lightbox faces, totem panels and fascia vinyl to fit what you already have, then fit them, so the sign looks new without the cost of replacing the structure.

New faces for Eccles frontages

In the town centre, lightboxes over shops and cafes face the street all day, and older acrylic faces yellow and crack. Near the motorways, trade counters and units often share a totem at the entrance, and each tenant panel needs changing whenever a unit is re-let. A new face is far quicker than a new sign in both cases.

If you take over a unit with a working sign box, a new face is the simplest way to make it yours. Our sign face replacement Manchester page has more general detail.

Measuring the frame

Eccles is roughly 20 to 25 minutes from our office via the M602 or the A57, depending on traffic. Many signs can be measured from clear photos with a tape measure in shot. Totems and high signs are better measured on site so the new face fits exactly.

Totem panels on business parks

A shared totem works best when every panel looks like it belongs. When one tenant changes, their new panel should match the others in size, background colour and lettering height, otherwise the totem looks patched. We measure the slot, check any style the landlord uses, and make the new panel to sit neatly alongside the rest.

Totem faces are usually removed from the side or the top, sliding out of a channel. Some have a clip-on trim instead. We check this first, because it decides how the swap is done and whether the totem needs to be partly opened.

Landlords and managing agents can book several panel changes together, or set up regular changes as tenants come and go, so totems across a site stay up to date.

We replace faces only and do not work on electrics. If a totem or lightbox is not lighting, a qualified electrician needs to fix it first. For new signs, see illuminated signs or fascia signs, and shop signs Eccles.

In the town centre, flat fascias without lighting can usually be refreshed with new vinyl. We strip the old lettering and its glue, clean the panel and apply new cut or printed vinyl, which changes the frontage in a few hours without new fixings in the wall. Where the panel is dented or coming loose, we recommend a new fascia instead.

What do customers ask before ordering?

Can you replace one panel on our Eccles totem sign?

Yes. We measure the slot and make a panel to match the others, then swap it without taking the totem apart.

Will the new face match the colours of the old one?

We match your brand colours, not the faded old face, so the new face looks as it should.

Which material lasts longest?

Acrylic keeps its colour well on high signs. Polycarbonate is tougher and better for low signs that might be knocked.

Can you fit outside working hours?

Yes. Evening and weekend fitting can be arranged.

Do you repair lights?

No. We replace faces and vinyl only. Lighting faults need a qualified electrician.

Can a fascia just get new vinyl?

Yes, if the panel is sound. We strip the old lettering and glue and apply new vinyl.
