Measuring

Hanging signs and painted fascias

Painted timber fascias can be refreshed with new vinyl lettering: the old lettering comes off, the board is cleaned and the new lettering goes on. If the paint itself is tired, it may be worth repainting the board first, and we can tell you when we see it.

We use faces and inks made for illuminated signs, so colours look right both in daylight and lit at night, and check darker colours before production because they can look very different with light behind them.

For low signs and projecting boxes within reach of the pavement, polycarbonate is worth choosing. It is much tougher than acrylic and copes with knocks from deliveries and ladders.

When we fit, we also clean inside the box, because dust and insects show through a new face once it is lit.
