Fleets and trade vans around Bolton

Firms near the M61, from manufacturing and distribution businesses to the trade counters around Horwich, often run several vans and replace them on a cycle. Each time a van leaves the fleet the branding has to come off, or it carries your name and number to whoever buys it next. Lease returns are stricter still: graphics, glue lines and marks can all lead to charges.

Smaller businesses in the town, from cafes near Bolton Market to electricians and plumbers working across the borough, face the same thing when they change van. Removal done carefully protects the paint and the resale value. Our van livery removal Manchester page explains the method in more detail.

Pricing from photos, work at your site or ours

Send photos of both sides, the back and the bonnet, with a close-up of the worst affected graphic, plus the make and model. We reply with a fixed quote, so you know the cost before booking. For a fleet, send one set of photos per van.

Bolton is roughly 25 to 35 minutes from our office in Cheetham Hill, via the A666 and M61 or along the A6, depending on traffic. We can work at your depot if there is safe, sheltered space, or the van can come to us in M8 by arrangement.

The removal process

1

Photos in

We look at what is on each van and how weathered it is.

2

Quote and booking

A fixed price per van and a date that suits your schedule.

3

Gentle heat

Graphics are warmed so the adhesive softens before lifting.

4

Peel and remove glue

Vinyl comes off at a low angle, then leftover adhesive is cleared with a paint-safe remover.

5

Final wipe and check

Panels are cleaned and checked in good light before handover.

What you get

  • Lettering, logos, printed panels and wraps removed
  • Reflective chevrons and rear door markings taken off
  • Window graphics and one way vision stripped
  • All adhesive residue cleared
  • Panels cleaned and wiped down
  • Old vinyl taken away

De-branding several vans at once

When a business renews part of its fleet, it often has three or four vans to strip in the same week. We plan these as one job, working through the vans in turn at your depot so drivers are not left without a vehicle for long. If the replacement vans need your branding, they can be lettered in the same visit, which keeps the fleet consistent.

For larger fleets, it helps to keep a record of what each van carries, so removal and new graphics can be quoted quickly whenever a vehicle changes. Our fleet branding service covers the new side of the work, and van graphics covers one-off vans.

Very old wraps are the slowest part of any fleet job. Printed wrap film that has been on for years can come away in small pieces, and the adhesive underneath takes patience to clear. We price these vans separately, so a fleet quote reflects the real work on each vehicle rather than an average.

What do customers ask before ordering?

Can you remove graphics at our depot near the M61?

Yes, as long as there is safe space around each van and some shelter from rain. Otherwise vans can be brought to our office in M8 by arrangement.

Will removal leave marks on the paint?

The glue is always cleaned off. On older vans the paint around the lettering may have faded, leaving a faint outline, and we tell you from the photos if that is likely.

Can you strip a van before a lease return date?

Yes. Tell us the return date when you send photos and we will book the removal with time to spare.

Do you do cars and pickups too?

Yes. The same method works for cars, pickups and larger vehicles.
