Fleets near the M60 and Trafford Park

Eccles sits right by the M60 and M602, next to Trafford Park, so a lot of its businesses run delivery and service vans: logistics and courier firms, trades working across the west of Greater Manchester, caterers and food suppliers. Fleets on a lease cycle hand vans back regularly, and lease companies expect them plain, with no lettering and no glue lines.

Smaller firms in the town centre around Church Street face the same issue on a smaller scale when they change their one or two vans. In both cases careful removal protects the paint and avoids return charges. Our van livery removal Manchester page explains how it is done.

Quoting and where we work

Send photos of each side, the back and the bonnet, with a close-up of the most weathered graphic, plus the make and model. For a fleet, one set of photos per van is enough to price the job. You get a fixed quote back.

Eccles is roughly 20 to 25 minutes from our office via the M602 or the A57, depending on traffic. We can work at your depot if there is safe, sheltered space, or the vans can come to us in M8 by arrangement.

The process

1

Photos for each van

We check the graphics on every vehicle.

2

Fixed quote and schedule

A price per van and a plan to suit your fleet’s working week.

3

Heat and lift

Graphics are warmed so the adhesive softens before peeling.

4

Residue removal

Leftover glue is cleared with a paint-safe remover.

5

Clean and sign off

Each van is wiped down and checked before it leaves.

What every van gets

  • Lettering, logos and printed panels removed
  • Part and full wraps taken off
  • Rear chevrons and fleet numbers stripped
  • All adhesive residue cleared
  • Panels cleaned and wiped
  • Old vinyl removed from site

Lease returns and fleet changeovers

When a lease ends, the return conditions usually ask for the vehicle as it was delivered. That means every piece of vinyl gone, including fleet numbers, chevrons and small stickers on doors and dashboards, and no glue residue along panel edges and seams. Lease inspectors look closely at these edges.

We work through a returning batch at your depot in an order that suits your drivers, so as few vans as possible are off the road at once. If replacement vans arrive at the same time, they can be branded in the same visit with our fleet branding service, keeping every vehicle consistent.

Chevrons on the rear doors are often the most stubborn part. Reflective vinyl uses a stronger adhesive and a tougher face, so it takes more heat and more time than ordinary lettering. We allow for that in the price rather than finding out on the day.

For single vans changing hands, the old graphics can come off and new van graphics go on in the same booking.

What do customers ask before ordering?

Can you strip vans at our Eccles depot near the M602?

Yes, if there is safe space around each van and shelter from rain. Otherwise vans can come to our office in M8 by arrangement.

Can you work around our delivery schedule?

Yes. We can work through vans one at a time, in the evening or at weekends, so the fleet keeps running.

Do you remove reflective chevrons?

Yes. Chevrons take longer than lettering because the adhesive is stronger, and we price for that from your photos.

Will the lease company see marks?

The glue is always removed. On older vans a faint outline can show where the paint faded, and we tell you if that is likely before you book.

Can you remove graphics from cars and pickups too?

Yes. The same method works on cars, pickups and larger vehicles.

What happens to the removed vinyl?

We take it away with us and leave your yard tidy.

Covering Salford, Stretford and Leigh too

We remove van graphics for businesses in Salford, Stretford and Leigh as well. See the Eccles print and signage page for our other local services.

For a fixed price, send van photos to 07737 902425 on WhatsApp, call 0161 315 1151 or use the quote form.
