Who we de-brand vans for in Stockport

Builders, electricians and plumbers working across Stockport, Edgeley, Heaton Moor, Cheadle and Bramhall change vans every few years. Manufacturers and trade suppliers run small fleets, often on lease. Independent food and retail businesses in the old town around the Market Hall and the Underbanks use small vans for deliveries and markets.

In every case, graphics left on a sold vehicle keep your name on the road, and adhesive left on a lease return leads to charges. Careful removal avoids both. The method is set out on our van livery removal Manchester page.

Quotes and visits

Send photos of each side, the rear and the front, plus a close-up of the oldest graphic and the make and model. We send back a fixed quote.

Stockport is roughly 30 minutes from our office via the A6 or the M60, depending on traffic. We can work at your premises if there is safe space around the van, or the van can come to us in M8 by arrangement.

Our process

1

Assess the photos

We identify the vinyl and how weathered it is.

2

Book

A fixed price, a place and a date are agreed.

3

Warm

Each graphic is warmed to soften the adhesive.

4

Remove and clean

Vinyl peeled slowly, residue dissolved with a paint-safe remover.

5

Check

Panels, seams and shut lines inspected before handover.

What you get

  • Lettering, logos and printed panels removed
  • Part and full wraps taken off
  • Chevrons, rear door graphics and window vinyl stripped
  • All adhesive cleared
  • Panels cleaned
  • Waste removed

Trade vans covered in years of additions

A trade van that has worked around Stockport for years often carries more than the original livery: accreditation badges added later, a new mobile number over the old one, a website address, a promotional sticker. Each one is a separate layer with its own adhesive, and the layers have often been applied over each other. We peel them in reverse order, top layer first, so the paint underneath is not stressed by pulling through several layers at once.

Ladder racks, roof bars and bulkheads hide vinyl in places that are easy to miss. We check behind and under fittings, inside door shuts and around rear lights, because that is where buyers and lease inspectors look first.

If the replacement van needs your branding, it can be lettered in the same booking using vehicle lettering, or redesigned with van graphics.

Manufacturers with several vans can book a batch at their premises, with vans done in turn so the business keeps running.

If the van is going back to a lease company, tell us the return date when you send photos and we will book the removal with time to spare.

What do customers ask before ordering?

Can you remove graphics at our yard in Stockport?

Yes, if there is safe space around the van and some shelter from rain. Otherwise it can come to our office in M8 by arrangement.

Our van has layers of stickers. Can they all come off?

Yes. We remove them in reverse order, top layer first, and clear the adhesive from each.

Will the paint be damaged?

Factory paint is left intact. Resprayed or flaking paint can lift, and we tell you from the photos.

Could an outline of the lettering remain?

On older vans the covered paint can look slightly different. The glue is always removed, and we warn you if an outline is likely.

Do you check behind roof racks and bulkheads?

Yes. Hidden vinyl around fittings and in door shuts is part of the job.

Can you do several vans for our firm?

Yes. We schedule them so the business keeps running.
