Seeing the sign before we quote

Photos are often enough for a simple fascia or window. A hanging sign, a large fascia or anything lit needs a visit, so we can check the brackets, the fixings and whether the pavement is wide enough for access equipment. Hanging signs and timber fascias

Traditional hanging signs suit Chorlton’s streets and many new tenants want to keep the bracket for their own sign. If the bracket is sound, we take the old sign off and leave the bracket in place, checking its fixings into the wall. If it is loose or rusted through, we remove it and show you the condition of the brickwork.

Timber fascias are often painted directly or carry vinyl lettering. Old vinyl on a painted board can pull paint with it, so we warm it and work slowly. The board may still need repainting afterwards, and we tell you honestly what it looks like once the lettering is off.

Inside the shop there is often more to clear: menu boards, wall graphics, old frosted film on a back office door. These can be removed in the same visit, so the new tenant starts with a clean slate inside and out.
